chuck it was fatique.we had 3 guys go down and our 2 mikens break.you had just won 2 games in the last inning.mentally draining.we were lucky to have 18 players.the extra runners helped us.tired swings lead to easy outs.both teams last games were their worst,we were just more lucky.good luck and stay safe.if the spa has the torney in cleveland in may like they did last year maybe we will cya there

as player and coach of max spice i can assure everyone that we will be playing major next year.we won't wait for someone to move us we will do it on our own.everyone should do so without being forced to.this is how softball is suppose to be played.we as players and coaches have to start acting in the right manner and police our sport from within.adrian twist#11 max spice

Discussion: LVSSA WORLD TOURNAMENT

please no more cards.we pay enough already.we should have 1 centralized card and i centralized set of rules.we are overpaying way too much.over 500.00 a tourney is way out of line.how do they justify the expense.if the cards aren't working in the other asscs. then they wont work here.what we need is asscs.doing their jobs.right now they arent earning their money.we should start having a say in this game.we need representation and unity.how come in usssa 40's and 35's they dont have to pay for a card.how come they dont have to wait over an hour in line the night before the tourney to sign in?how come asa bans our bats and we let them do it.why are we playing tournies with batters bopxes have a rug down with a hole the size of a football in it?lights inside the field of play is dangerous.we as players should have a say in field selection, the fields for world tournies should be preapproved by a panel of players.the ball issue should also be up to the players as well.if asscs dont give us a say we should boycott them or someone should start up a real senior softball org. that caters to seniors only.we should start boycotting asa right now.it may sound harsh but is necessary.viva senior softball viva the revolution.adrian twist max spice #11

Discussion: SPA Plano 65 AA

blue i understand what you are saying.rules are rules .i also feel bad for the player who would have been kicked off his teams because of these rules.the fact is we as players do not make these rules but have to follow them.i wonder how many players would have liked to play but couldnt because of those rules?spa and many assc. take our money in the form of memberships and entry fees ,when we pay these fees it is then the assc. responsibility to see the rules they made are enforced.we have to have 3 forms of id,sign in and wear bracelets because of these rules.we as players have very little say as we keep paying for ids, bats as many assc. change their rules as they see fit.senior softball is a growing industry in which we keep paying for with little say.if someone in spa or other assc. wants to do the right thing then have all the same rules and one card for all.i liked playing in plano and like ridgeway but i agree with you that we have little say

Discussion: BAT AND BALL RESTRICTIONS

dont want to be misunderstood.we were hitting mush balls in super major while the aa were hitting 47s.i would love to see wooden bats then it would be easier to rate teams but always remember that great players are great no matter the equip.better equip. makes some players look better and gives everyone a chance to hit hr.wooden bats would be safer for sure.i play in major 50s and only saw 1 shin injury the whole year and that was after the hrs were used.if the overlimit hrs were walks instead of outs it would help cut down injuries.needless to say the equip.should be the same in all of sen.softball especially the same during the same tourn.it is unfair to change balls from 1 game to the next without notification.in deleware there was another field behind us in lf but the officials didnt want to chase the balls.the field behind us in cf kept hitting the47s into our field.no balls were lost so why werent they the same?sorry for the rant.they were on sat.

Discussion: ratings

i would like to see the tourn. prelim format changed in some cases.i would like the brackets to have a team from each division in it.the scores of each game should be posted and rated.in some tourns i would like to see the division champs playoff this would also help in rating a team.each win scores pts. depending on the class of each opponent.lets be real the only world champions are the super-majors unless proven different.a major team is always capable of beating a super-major team if they are using the good balls and bats with a hr limit.it is when the ball is bad and the mikens are illegal that the lower teams have less of a chance unless you hit singles like thermco.the teams with sponser always have an advantage in sports that has always been that way since we were kids.you have to play the best to be the best congrats to all the super major champs.looking forward to your competition

Discussion: BAT AND BALL RESTRICTIONS

instead of screwing us with bat restrictions sen. softball should take care of the fields better.the batters box in cheyenne(vegas)took 2 of our players out of the tour.with badly twisted ankles and made all of our players uncomfortable.in deleware we were playing in the major plus .on the prelims we were using good balls.during batting prac. before the real games started we were hitting for the fences in cf.when we got to the game we were suddenly hitting crap balls.no one in the tourn. hit 1 out.inc .damiens and thermco. in the meantime we were tossing back balls hit by the aa teams.does this make sense?we were moved up to play super majors,pd. all that money to get there and then shafted.its not so much the bats as it is the balls and disorganization.whatever balls are cheaper are used.get all the money you can from the seniors.i have been to 3 40&over usssa worlds and do not need a card and have never checked in.ill.players are be used.why the concern about the50&over.MONEY?sorry about the but why are we taking this crap?

Discussion: Tournament Fees

i also wonder what the fees are used for. in vegas we only hit a new ball once, there was no ice in the water ,no scorekeepers,no pitcher's box, sometimes no foul lines,1 ump during some gamesand the first 2 days no concessions.we pay membership fees and 495.00 to boot so i thought ice should have been provided

Discussion: all world selectios vegas

it is a world tourn.the best players should be on the team, providing that their team did well.i think 4th place only being beaten by the top 2 teams is doing well.if the tourn.had score keepers than maybe the director would make an effort in picking an all star selection.al's stats speak for themselves and i bet the top 2 teams would agree he should have been selected.congrats to top guns for the great tourn. and to all the teams for the great competition
