Hello guys, As Mike said he will be set up at Big League Friday and Saturday and will also be at the managers meeting with the latest And greatest senior bat out there: The new Worth Wicked! We will also have some bat bags, batting gloves, and backpacks so come on by and check them all out as Miken/Worth is providing special pricing just for this weekend. We will also have some of this years Miken bats and the original one piece Ultra II there as well. Also, myself and Mike Macenko will be in Las Vegas in the Miken/Worth tent with some of the new Worth Wickeds and the Miken line. I think Mike will be at Big League Field of Dreams starting Thursday through Saturday. I will be there from this coming Sunday through Friday. Worth Wicked Senior bat CT When I do testing I use a combination of Worth, Trump, Tattoo and a few of the new AD Starr green/yellow practice balls. All the balls are 44/375. I keep about 3 or 4 X-Rock balls in the bag just for fun 😬Too. The Rock Softball's are certainly fun to hit but not a good ball to do any type of real testing with unless you are just trying to see the longest ball you can hit. Comparing the Wicked to a Jeff Hall senior bat? Kind of like comparing a good aluminum bat to composite....you get the idea! AT18 Team 1 Sports |

Each of them have an argument in the mix to be where they are and now we have number 4.... So, my observation and extensive experience with all 4 of these suggest that any one of them could claim to be in the top 3. When you have bats this good I generally council prospective buyers that the one that feels/swings the best is the one most likely you will hit the best with. This leads me into an important part of my training camps academic profile in THE MENTAL APPROACH TO HITTING. The famous curriculum there is based on this profound quote: HITTING IS 50% MENTAL And 50% PHYSICAL and the rest is MENTAL.... I do believe that through hours and hours of testing with everything imaginable that the Miken and Worth bats have a slight edge when you consider: Swing weight/Balance points Performance Durability Size of Sweet spot / forgiveness Hope this helps you out. I do work closely with Miken/Worth but as of this date I do not work directly for them. I personally endorse and swing their products as I believe that overall they have the best their is for a variety of reasons. I do enjoy working with their engineering and design team as again, I feel they are the best in the business. As a self proclaimed bat (and gear geek) I very much enjoy trying out all kinds of new equipment and trying to give constructive advice to those I am working for. As far as break in and durability you will find this bat right up there with any of the very best on the market right now. I will not tell you you will hit the ball 20 feet farther nor will I tell you that it will outlast all the other bats BUT: For some players it might. In summary, the Wicked will be right there with the top 3 bats on the market in sweet spot, durability, and performance. It will really compare straight up with the other one piece bats out there right now. It swings really true to weight and I enjoyed itsnbalance points as I feel they are dead on for a 1/2 ounce end load bat. You can feel the end load but it's not over done. If you used the red/black Ultra II Maxload back in the day this is just for you with added durability and sweet spot. Anyone will enjoy the quick bat speed and forgiving nature of the design. Worth Wicked Senior bat Guys and Girls, A big announcement today that you can all take note of....Worth is re entering the Senior bat market with the new Wicked Senior bat! The bat is a ONE PIECE model which a lot of players prefer and it has a half ounce end load. I have hit it extensively and tested it for months and it's definitely a winner. As you know Miken and Worth are owned by the same company and sometimes share technology. The technology in this bat comes from multiple sources and it's a collaboration of some of the best engineers out there. The bat has a tremendous sweet spot and is highly durable as well. If you like one piece bats you will absolutely love this one. I will be posting you tube video around the first of next week so you can see one in action. Worth is working on pricing now but I am told it should fall somewhere in the $199.95 - $219.95 range. They are specifically engineered to hit the 52/300 balls and they sure do it well. I have tested them extensively and I just got some of both in stock. I randomly selected some and sure enough....the very top of the heat in performance right when the wrapper came up. The 2017 models are just lights out. | July 16, 2017 Tri18 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: weight training Cat, Great question which always gets athletes in a dilemma.....do I lift during a season? I think we must consider (at our age) what is best for us physically more than just for athletic performance. We know weight training is hugely beneficial to long term health and quality of life so I am an advocate of year round training. That being said modification of routine, amount of weight, and amount of overall training will vary athlete to athlete based on ability, age, goals, and the most important, personal safety. My short advice is to not do anything during your season that creates extended muscle soreness or lack of flexibility. I work individually with clients to construct programs that achieve this but it's difficult to just put out a "standard prescription ". Hope this helps a little bit. AT18 Team 1 Sports |

| July 11, 2017 Tri18 | Topic: Product review Discussion: Shorts for Bp, games, the beach....! Hello Guys, My latest project has been a little time consuming but kind of fun. Alot of players have been asking me about this for the past 1-2 years so I have been working on several different styles of microfiber, moisture wicking shorts that can be used just about anywhere. I combined the best features from 3 or 4 different styles and came up with some functional but good looking multi purpose shorts. They are baggy enough to,allow you to hit Bp or play games in them but not overly so. Pockets either have Velcro or a very lightweight low profile zipper as a closure so nothing will fall out at the beach or when running. I made a short video on You Tube that you can find by searching Alan Tanner softball and scrolling to them. If you have any questions feel free to reach out. Two new Limited Edition ASA bats just came out this week commemorating the ASA Border Battle played each year between USA and Canada. These are numbered bats bats as they only make 1500 of each. Mikens is known as the Border Battle and Worth's is the Legit XL USA. BOTH SPORT red white and blue paint jobs and both are equipped with the latest technology in ASA bats.
