Let's Not Sweep this Topic Under The Rug ! ! !

Where are "WE" in regards to 50M+ Schedule Coordination out here on the West Coast? And how's the Health of the 50M+ Division out in your Neck of the Woods ? ? ?

ROLL CALL,

Which 50M+ Teams are Registered for the 2013 WESTERN NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS in Sacramento ? ? ?

I spoke to Rev from GSC this afternoon, and it doesn't sound as if there are many 50M+ Commitments ! ! !

Jason,

I would like to Request GSC to send Alan Tanner (Tri18) several Bats for independent Testing. As you may know, Alan is one of the Most Honest, Respected, and Trusted Advocates/Consultants out there in the Senior Softball Community!? I've dabbled in my own Research, but have found that my Evaluation Needs have been met when Consulting with Alan (Team 1 Sports) . . .

Not that I don't have Faith in your Product, I'm merely stating that if you Truly Believe in your Product, you may just want Alan's Stamp of Approval and/or Blessings (IMHO) ! ? ! ?

Alan,

Is it Coincidence that it's the All Star Break, and I've been Transferred to Florida!? You know how much I Hate Playing in Florida, but are you aware of any SandBagging Teams in Need? Hope to see you in Vegas this year so I can Thank You Personally ! ! !

Unfortunately sometimes Family, Work, Life Priorities Change and we just couldn't assemble enough Manpower to make the trip . . .

It really sucks because we have so few Tournaments prior to the SCSSA SoCal Championships, LVSSA/SSUSA World & Winter World Championships . . .

Tim,

Get it right, it's STOOOPID BATS ! ! !

Larger Mat

1-1 Count

7 or 9 HR's, 1 Up, anything else is an Out

No Dismantling of Teams, as it's an Option & Honor to Play at the Highest Level. I believe we can Combine 50M/50M+, but the Equalizer Rules need to be Tweaked (with Team Manager Approvals). I don't believe 50M+ Teams should ever be Excluded from 50M Play simply because they are "Too Good" a-la Arizona in state Tournaments. That is Total Bu!!$#!T IMHO, and any 50M Team that Whines that much should just Fold up Tent, and Throw in the Towel (IMHO) ! ! !

Tri18 = Honest Abe

Some of us have not reached the Grouchy Old Man Status yet, so keep doing what you do ! ! !

BTW, we were Ambushed in French Valley, CA by 30mph winds Howling in from Left-Center. AZ Elite was unable to produce 1 Homer in that game, although Nazzareno I believe hit 2 or 3, and managed to come back and beat us in the 1 Game Championship Game in 8 innings (LOL) ! ! !

Tim & I had discussions previously regarding West Coast Major Plus Team Schedules. Unfortunately there's such a Huge Mileage Gap in Tournament Locations that AZ Elite suffers the most. We are Limited to Dwindling Winter World, Spring World, and the Southwest Tournaments in SSUSA! Other than that, at least Marv allows us to Play in his SCSSA Tournaments. Again, AZ SSUSA has basically shut us out of Playing in the 50's, and there isn't even any Promotion for 40+ Teams!? It's Disheartening for lack of better words ! ! !

NSA Manteca (NorCal) Costs too much! NSA Dallas (DFW) Costs too much! NSA Las Vegas is TBA, but Affordable for AZ Elite! No NSA Senior Ball in Arizona, although there are Specialty Tournaments (Hispanic, Native American, Black American). AZ Elite has too many Tokens, so we can't Play in our own State (LOL) ! ! !

There is no need for a 50/55 Major Plus Team to Breakup, as Timmy would suggest. Yet AZ Elite can't even Play SSUSA 50's in Arizona anymore, and aren't even aloud to Play ASA Regular Softball because we are supposedly Better than the majority of Young Kids Playing D & E (LOL) ! ! !

We won't Fool ourselves thinking we can Compete with True 40M+ Teams, but we're Not Opposed to Playing them every now-n-then. A 10 year gap is too much as far as True Senior Softball Standards are . . .

NoName36,

AZ Elite & Nazzareno are 50M+, not 55's. It's likely you have not played us, but not out of the question . . .

Nighthawks 55M+ Played-up this weekend in French Valley, as they were included in our Bracket (AZ Elite & Nazzareno). Good Job Fella's ! ! !

Tim,

NW Legends & AZ Elite are not as Fortunate as you guys in NorCal. We are pretty much Outta Luck playing in town, so we have to Travel to Play in mixed Age Groups. Yea! I can't speak for NW Legends, but I'd guess it's much of the same for them up in the Great Northwest ? ? ?

We had a few Very Good Games with NW Legends in Las Vegas, but it was just our 2 50M+ Teams. We are able to Drive there, but I'm fairly certain NW Legends flew into Las Vegas.

Given the updates in this thread, it's looking pretty much like it just may be 2 NorCal 50M+ Teams Playing in Sacramento for the Western National Title!? Very Unfortunate that we may not be able to Defend our National Title based on Costs!? If this is the Future of the M+ Divisions, maybe SSUSA needs to look at using a Point System for Participating Teams, versus a single Tournament location to determine the East -v- West National Title!? Hey Timmy, are you & Rev Conspiring with the Home Office ! ? ! ?

Arizona Elite has San Clemente on our Schedule, and are awaiting confirmation of "Which Format & Rules" will be used for the weekend!? Nazzareno will not be attending, as they have prior commitments elsewhere. Sounds like a Blast, so have FUN and we'll seeya down the road for Payback ! ! !

Steve,

Thank you for Sharing your GSC P413 Prototype (Non-Production) Bats with us this weekend in French Valley. Now that you know where the Jabs are coming from you know it was only in Jest, as Rev & Ollie would tell you. Arizona Elite gives the Bat a "FAIR" Rating, as it stacks up just as STOOOPID as all the other Senior Bats ! ! !

Congratulations to Nazzareno on their WIN this weekend, coming through the Losers Bracket to Win a 1 Game Winner Take All Championship. I think we all would agree that some of these Format & Rule Changes are a bit Ridiculous to say the Least!? Best Wishes, and Good Luck to everyong the rest of this Season and Beyond ! ! !

Please send Arizona Elite 1ea - 27, 28, 29, and 30 Ounce Bat. We will put them through some Brutal Testing for you. If they are as Good as Proclaimed we will Bless them and put our Stamp of Approval on them. Maybe even Add them to our Arsenal!?!?
