I received my 28oz. EL today. Went right out and got 75 swings. The bat has good pop but felt heavier than my 28oz.13inch Dudley. The distance was about the same but the Dudley is well broken in. To the weight room I go or drop to a 27oz.

Discussion: New Complex in Sanford Fla.

While visiting my brother in central Fla. He mentioned and new baseball/softball complex being built near the Sanford airport. He knew it was 15 fields. Wondering if anyone can fill in some blanks, when open, who will play there etc.

Discussion: Balanced vs Endload

I was watching a video on Kellys website. The demonstrator was hitting balanced and endloaded. He said you swing a balanced with an upswing and an endload level. That struck me as odd. Any Thoughts?

Discussion: Hitting from tee vs. hitting pitched ball

I hit from a tee almost everyday. My distance is about 20-30 feet more with a pitch in my zone, remember the ball speed is appox. 25-30 mph vs 0 from the tee.

Discussion: "Want More Power? Get Arm Extension within the Hip Rotation" Swing Makeover #29

Returned to upstate NY yesterday what a long but worthwhile drive from Vero. I hit with my regular thursday group today and many wanted to know what went on and if I would pass on anything of value to them. I did and had a 15min. mini clinic it was fun and recalling what I learned helped to burn the information into my brain.
Thanks to all the staff and my fellow campers for an enjoyable experience.
Mr Reed I now have a foam roller and streching bands in my bag, and Bob O'brian I have the 3 pound dumbells. Thanks Jim Ferrell

I came accross weighted batting gloves in a search. Wondering if anyone has used them for BP they are supposed to increase hand strength and bat speed. Thanks for the feedback.

Discussion: Dudley Lighting

Bought a new Dudley Lighting hitting 44/375 balls after about 100 swings ball was only traveling 280 feet. I usually hit a senior bat around 320-330. The handle seemed very stiff, need feedback if it will open up, or any similiar experiences.

Do any of you have a shoulder injury in the rotator cuff area? I fell 6 weeks ago crossing home plate and went headlong into the backstop my left shoulder took the brunt of it. since i am left handed i hardly can throw the ball 30 feet. Does not bother to bat. Any suggestions on rehab. Thanks
