Discussion: OK You Gym Rats Out There

I have been working out for the last 4 years,4 times a week.My power has gone up ALOT.Go heavy for a month, then reps for a month.Use machines as much as possable, only use dumbbells for curls, anything else you can blow something out.An we all know we don't need that. Also get a bat about 35 oz and one at 25 oz.Swing each 10 times a day, this will build your arms.I hope this helps.

Discussion: a new home run rule

Hey, these rules are ok,TILL you get to the eastern nationals, this year,in Elgin and the fences for 50 AA &AAA,55 AA & AAA.These fences were only 275.You build a team not to hit them 300'.Then you come too this.Maybe they could adjust the rules when this happens.

Discussion: Ultra 2 =s automatic HRs

Gary Heifner,i believe you were watching one of our games at the eastern nationals.I played with the brickyard and we were palying the Indiana Classics.I agree with you 100%.I hit a few HR there, which were all well over 300.But many homeruns that were there, were just 280' out on regular fields. Most home run hitters could use almost any bat and still hit them out.

Great Idea,I would be even better if SSUSA would do it also.I have been to too many tournaments were we played 1 game on Fri,an 2 on Sat. Then 4 on Sun.Since most of us are still working, getting the time off is tough.

Discussion: What may have "ruined slow pitch"?

I believe we can blame it all on the bats.Come on why do 50 year old guys need to hit a ball 300 feet.I would love to see only single wall bats return.Maybe then we would see,who can really hit a ball.
