The balanced Dudley bats may take a few more swings than the EL models. Keep swinging it.

Will check out the route with family. Glad to hear from you Bob. We missed you at Huntsman Games. Got the silver medal but the team ran out of gas in the championship game. Only had 10 guys. It was fun however. All the best.

Discussion: Passing of Fred Purvis

There is only one Fred that comes to my mind when I play in Arizona and Vegas. Please tell me what teams Fred played for. I always appreciated and respected Fred and every time I saw him in a complex, he was smiling and was very cordial. One of the guys I would always look for and hope to see. Obviously living in remote Colorado does not always afford me the ability to get down to the populace of player strongholds.

There's going to be some pretty talented teams in heaven and Fred will be one to remember.

Discussion: Wanting a rental in Florida

We are looking for a rental in Florida December/January/February. Driving to Florida prior to Thanksgiving. We are looking around Crescent Beach, Daytona, St. Augustine but are open to other areas close to the water. I want to surf/fish and play ball. Very respectful of others property. May bring my boat.

Sam, send me pics of your deer. I assume white tail. Ours here are mule deer. Will be hunting elk at our place this week-end. Spent a few days in Wisconsin with Paul Coz 2 weeks ago. You may know him, plays with Pope Transport. Owns Outdoorsman Sport Shop near Kenosha.

Mike congratulations again. You playing in Phoenix?

Web keep healing.

Jose, truly hope you heal quickly and completely from this unfortunate accident. It will give me safety consciousness when I begin my elk hunt this week-end. Was good to meet you and your brother in Vegas.

I continue to get emails from players asking about the Reebok Melee's. Let me share that I can answer most questions and that the Melee may not be manufactured going forward. If you want to know more, please take a moment to email or call me.

Discussion: Dudley Lighning 12 inch senior bat. Webbing

From my experience and from receiving many feedback calls and emails from players, the Lightning seems to be the most durable bat currently available. I live in cold climate and hear from others who also live in colder climate locations. So far durability exists.

First I've heard of any webbing scenario. Please take a photo of this and send it to me. I'd like to see it. I'm getting positive feedback from around the country and news of 1800-2400 hits and still going strong.
Thanks,

Discussion: Worlds in Vegas

A huge thank you to the entire SSUSA staff, volunteers, umpires, caterers and vendors. I spent 10 days working and playing ball there and so many people worked hard to make the tournament a success. I also want to congratulate the players who were inducted into the various Hall Of Fame Organizations.

Very Sincerely,

Ed Andrews
