RIK56,
Are you looking for a tournament team, and if so, what age bracket?

It is possible for 3 teams to finish 4-1, if team a beats team b, team b beats team c and team c beats team a and all three teams win the rest of their games they all finish 4-1. Then a team with one bad game would be eliminated.

Fangrabbers will be there. To add insult to injury on the dbo rule last weekend, CJ&S won the tournament with a 3-3 record, Bandits were second at 3-3 and Fangrabbers came in tied for third at 4-1 with a team that was 2-3. How can the only team with a winning record finish third? Hopefully the "real" dbo rule will be applied and a format will be used so that the best record wins the G.G. tourney.

Where did you end up practicing ? I got to Desert Horizon about 9:30 and the fields looked like they were under repair and there were no players to be seen.

I would have to agree with everyone on the balance of teams in the 50 Major. Fangrabbers lost to NW legends 34-33, giving up 13 runs in the bottom ot the 7th inning to finish fifth. Our loss to Doubleplay by one run in the bottom of the 7th in our second game was as well played as any game I have been involved in. The thing that stood out the most in the loss to Doubleplay was the respect both teams had for each other as the score went back and forth the whole game. I can't ever remember having more fun in losing a game than I did against a very classy team. The loss to NW legends was well played but not as fun, as the loss eliminated us. They, too, are a class act and were fun to compete with.

At last year's 50 Major world in Phoenix, Fangrabbers and Windy City played each other four times. We played each other once in the round robin, in the winner bracket final and then the championship and if game. So, yes, four times in the same tournament can happen!

What positions do you play? What type of hitter are you, power, base hitter or combo? Can you still run? Fangrabbers is based out of Mesa and was a AAA runner up last year at worlds and again this year in Majors. We also finished 2nd at this years TOC. Always looking to improve.
