I would agree with moving the bags back "a bit" as it will help infielders & pitchers with an increased response time to the batted ball as well as put a little more „D‰ back in the game. I think that 10‚ may be a little too extreme for many though.

In most associations that I play in, the distance between the bags is 65 feet so if you were to increase the distance by 10‚ you would end up at 75 feet between the bags and that‚s a long way for many of the 50+ arms and the additional 40‚ of running may not appeal to everyone either. Seventy-five feet will necessitate a 3rd base-man and a short-stop have a gun. Seventy feet might be a lot more manageable.

When playing against a decent defensive team you would find a lot of players batting averages go down as infielders will get to more balls and you will also see more double plays with the increased time to turn them and that might be all good?

You would also need to skin many of the infields we play on back some to make room but that should not be a problem.

∑Just my thoughts

Stealing in slow pitch? I seen it many years ago and did not like it much then but the game has changed so much that it could be more suited for todays game. It would certainly change many aspects of the game, the least of which would not be the catcher. Maybe moving the bases back an extra 5 feet would help the catcher nail these would be thieves.

Not sure if it's a good idea but I think it might be fun to try in a few tournaments.

I think you pretty much have it covered with the list you provided though better prizes for the top three teams in each division would be high on my list

Yeah I know what you mean seaweed. The old message board for instance was very user friendly but like you said, probably need some time to get used to this one.
