Discussion: What is your favorite complex you've ever played at?

If you haven't been to Denver(Aurora) then you have miss a great location and super fields. I still think this is were the Western National should be held and you would teams from west of the Mississippi will double, instead of mostly California team. Just my 2 cent worth. We are going back to Rocky mountain Classic again this year in August.

Discussion: LASIK, bifocals & contacts question

Tim, had Lasik when I turned 50 and it was the best decision for me, no problem with lights at night, great for swimming. Now that I'm almost 66 I still need glasses for reading, but I would do it again. Contacts were to much trouble for me, I user them for about 10 years before Lasik. They were better then glasses but nowhere close to what Lasik did for me.

Due to the lack of info about the SPA Dalton Worlds starting in three days, I was wondering what other teams(65 major) besides CenTex from Texas are going to be there?

Discussion: Question regarding Senior Recreation Leagues

San Antonio Seniors league(SASSL) allows all senior bats and we start will a 40 Division same as SSUSA. 40 Division voted that any ball hit up the middle(Thru pitchers box) is a automatic out. Seems to work for them. Very little balls towards pitchers. We have separate division by age 40+, 50+, 60-65 combined Saturday League and a 70-75 Division.

Staff, for the 65 major and 70 major plus shouldn't the note read if team 4 wins then runner-up goes not as currently reading if team one????

one or the other not both at that age bracket, once you hit 65 could be both depending on which association your playing with.

tommy45, most team would kill to play at BLD vs some of the fields that they were given. Guess you can't please everyone.

Discussion: Second Home plate for National Tourneys

As a league we decided to go to the line for safety reasons, on Saturday we start at 9 AM and with a little dampness(dew mostly) that extra plate can get real dangerous for a runner trying to score when you can't slide and you hit that slick plate bad things happen. I've never seen anyone slip on a line but a plate yes.

Discussion: 50 MAJOR & MAJOR PLUS COMBINED

Sounds like NCSSA is using the same format that FHC has been using for 25 plus years. Played in it for over 5 years and it works great, helps to have over 180 plus teams to do with. Wish we had the number of teams that Nor Cal and Florida have here in Texas to make it work, but we are to far spread apart to make Texas half century work the same way.

Discussion: 50 MAJOR & MAJOR PLUS COMBINED

Mad Dog, SSUSA has 22 tournaments that are TOC qualifier, times 8 age groups, times 4 divisions just in the men's giving you over 500 teams that qualified, yes some multiple times and sometimes not all age groups had teams but, my guess that at least 400 teams could go but only 115(not all men's teams) did, why??? timing being the biggest reason but it is still a must go to Tournament if you get the chance. I'm hoping to get to go again next year.
