May 21, 2014 Locoengineer 39 posts | opposite field hitting I am a lefty pull hitter, the teams that know me stack the right side, the left center gap is wide open. Need some good tips hitting that way. |
May 21, 2014 taits Men's 65 4548 posts | Wait a hair longer before hitting or wait for a outside pitch. Practice both if you do BP anywhere. |
May 21, 2014 Harri Men's 70 65 posts | As a right hand hitter trying to go to right field...I think the best way to go to the opposite field is to keep the hands back, don't dip your shoulder, think hitting down the line and wait, wait, wait. As a lefty, if there are men on first and/or first and second, heck I would still pull the ball...trying to reduce the chance of a double play. Good luck and practice going opposite during BP. |
