Miken Question
In 2013 I bought a Miken Ultra 750x nine months later it broke and I contacted Miken for a warranty replacement and was told they didn't have any in stock but would send me a 1 piece Psycho as a replacement, they said it was the same bat just different paint. I later bought a Rev-Ex which is also 750x HPI 100comp Technology and it is the same as the Ultra 750x and the Psycho in feel sound and distance. So does Miken just paint bats different colors and charge different prices? If that is the case is the DC-41 Freak 30 and Psycho 2 piece the same bat with different paint as they have the same Triple Matrix Core technology?

They call it marketing. Not the only company that does this. Some cost less too but you have to study bats and read the info out on them as well as feedback.
Many great bats out there other than Miken.

These are far from the same bat RG. Just because the basic specs provided appear similar the actual bats are built differently. The angle the composite is applied, the resins used, weighting of the bats are all different without even mentioning that the F30 is a 12" barrel bat while the Psycho and DC41 are 14" barrel bats. There is a ton of R&D goes into these bats hence the differences in sound, feel & break in time to many of these bats. Guys have "speculated" for many years that bats are simply repaints but that is really just an uninformed assumption and we all know what tends to happen when you assume...
