Posted | Discussion |
April 3 hombre Men's 60 240 posts | What is the best single wall non-composite bat available. A friend is going to be playing in a 60+ league that only allows this type of bat. He asked me and I don't have a clue. Demarini Vexxum or White Steel? I'd appreciate any input. Thanks |
April 3 taits Men's 65 4548 posts | Not in any order but these are likely the ones, imo: Powerhouse, two different ones out there Dudley Assault Dudley Assault 2 ConneXion, Silver blue & yellow |
April 4 Fred Scerra Men's 80 542 posts | If they allow it the Demarini White Steel is IMO the best singlewall. |
April 4 Stones 1B Men's 55 52 posts | Roger that one Scerra...White Steel is a groove. The Vexxum I find is a nice touch too...especially for the price. Hit it Daily! |
April 4 magic Men's 55 16 posts | Both of those bats (Demarini)are banned in my league. Could not seem to find Powehouse or Dudley bats. Where can you buy them? |
April 4 the wood Men's 65 1123 posts | The Long Beach, CA senior league does not allow... double walls, composites or two piece bats (Connexion) So we use mostly Easton (C-Core or Redline) and DeMarini single walls. Occasionally we'll see a TPS Power Dome or Worth Powercell. IMO, the Redline is the best one... the going rate for them is $125-150, if you buy them from someone there. But the DeMarini is the most widely used bat in that league. Bob Woodroof |
