Looking for a end cap for my Combat
Hi too all, I am looking for a used Combat , it being the Original Balanced Da Bomb model, my end cap has split, from to many times having to glue it back in, the end cap came out after the first week that i had it, in which i bought it last summer. I have sent it back twice to the Company and they just keep retuning the same bat having glued it there, and now I have had to put it back in at least 3 times and glued it myself, but now after using it in Dalton, the cap has split all away across. I have called the company again, and they will not sell me a new cap,

We had one of these also. The end cap nearly decapitated a couple of pitchers.
Combat just shrugged their shoulders and told us to get over it.
We did.I don't believe we have anymore Combats...
Great customer service..
Cut your losses and buy a U2 or some other flavor..

Rabbit, you can call 800-327-0074 ext 110 to have your bat repaired. I don't know what the other guy is saying but all of the problems brought to our attention have been taken care of.

Bashbro1 here and I can commiserate with your experience. I’ve had the very same problamo with the Silver Combat 13" barrel with the end-cap flying out to the shortstop. Many times I get accused of possibly altering the bat! I have never had the end cap fly off of the 10” barrel RED Senior Combat Da_Bomb I must say. Remains to be seen what happens with the NEW Mike Mecenko Signature bats.

You can order end-caps from this link but I’ve never tried one:

Rabbit: The end cap kept coming out of my Mayhem last year. I tried different glues and epoxies, etc. but nothing held. I emailed Worth and explained the circumstances and asked to return it and let them repair it (naturally I would pay for this repair). Nothing, they never answered 8 emails so another worthless customer service. Like Bashbro, the umps kept accusing me of altering the bat which I had not. Worth could have easily determined such. Anyway, it was recommended by a couple of guys with a bat company at spring training that I try J-B Weld. I purchased a new end cap via the internet (because the last time it flew out it was stepped on and cracked) and used J-B and it is still holding. Leftie, I had a pitcher accusing me of doing it on purpose and wanted me banned from the league. I have had no trouble with the red combat and one of our locals has a new yellow senior gear and it has some surface cracks at the end of the barrel but besdiaes that is awesome.

Thanks Bull, that is what Jim Carry told me also, JB Weld, I will be trying it as soon as I get the cap and the old bat cleaned up, he said make sure you have all the old glue off and it is clean, you can use the purple pipe cleaner that they use around plastic tubing for plumbing, it cleans it real well, then put the JB Weld on real good on both the bat and the cap, push it end, and let it stand on the cap side for 24 hours, and it should be good to go. I am glad you have used it and it has held, I would hate to be called a cheater when all we are doing is trying to keep it together.

Well, pitchers are slightly off center anyway.
To be that close and let a ball(or an endcap) come at you 100 mph or so, you have to missing some brain cells.
