Teams keep changing every year; I am trying to get an idea of any 50 or 55 Major or Major + teams in the Southeast area? Would you list your team?

Thanks John AKA Taterman

would you know if they might need any additional players? If they need any references they can speak to Winky. I played for the Pine Knob Club for over 10 years.

john,
i dont think there will be many 55 or 50 major plus teams in this area. it seems everybody wants to play as low as they can so they can win. we played about 7 diff. major plus teams in our 9 tournaments last year. each tournament only had about 4 total teams, with some being 50's to make a bracket. it is hard to get all the teams at the same tourneys because of all the money it takes.

I feel you are right, we are seeing less and less teams in the major + and even Major. there are a lot of seniors out there that wants to play but can't find a team because of the rules. I believe that Major + should be able to pick up any where they can, and the ones that play within there area should be reclass in a lower bracket if they want.

Donnie, I play outfield or first base have played Major Plus since turning 50. I played for Faith with Winky for one year after moving to N.C. in 2003. Played with the Pine Knob group from Mich. for 10 years. Living near Greenville, N.C. now being retired. Can you help?
