Midwest Championships
Just noticed on the tournaments that the Midwest Championship has been moved to June 9th thru June 14th and from a reliable source it will be in Schaumburg, Illinois.

OK SS-USA Staff, it's time to clarify the dates for the Midwest Championships....This is the third set of dates you have posted for this tournament...is this final now?

Isn't this the 3rd change to this tournament? If this is correct, it will conflict with the Bluegrass classic, ssusa qualifier in Louisville. Sure would be nice to get our tournament schedule nailed down. It's hard to hit a moving target.

It also conflicts with the ISF World Cup in Salem Va.

By the way, if you click on "Tournaments" and go down the list it gives you the June dates, but if you use the "Tournaments Map" it gives you July dates. The "Tournament Giude" you sent out with the paper conflicks with itself and has two different dates in July.
Come on guys we need to know the correct dates.

I started a previous thread last week on this very issue - wanting clarification on the the dates for the Midwest Championships tournament. I also sent an e-mail at that time to the SSUSA office. I have not received a reponse to either of my inquiries from the SSUSA staff. This type of uncertainty makes it very difficult for teams to finalize thier schedules.

Brett,
Forget that Midwest Champioships and head on down to Licking, Mo for the 25th Annual "You bring it you hit it"
Slowpitch Tournament. No run rule, no hr limit and you play all 7. If it gets a little dark we line up some trucks and let er rip. It is run in conjunction with the Testicle Festival. All the locals bring in their new recipes and it is a real feast, $10.00 a plate all you can eat. Big dance Firday night and I know a couple of your fellas can cut a rug. It is held at the City Park, 3 fields 250' fences all the way around. The outfields are a little rough...well hell so are the infields but Junior Stallings has been working real hard to get it all smoothed out for the tourney. There may be a rock or two but I bet you have played on worse. Last year was a real barn burner with the Skeeter boys pounding the First Baptist Church 12-2. An amazing 7 balls left the park. Mo Skeeter himself hit 3. So, bring your boys down and see if you can't knock off the defending champs, they can be a real pest at times.

JT, perhaps you could also invite those Sprinfield boys to the party.

Corky, this is Paul from the 55 team. Those dates in June, conflict with Shelbyville. The Louisville tourney is the previous week.I think we might head to South Bend and the SPA tourney there.I'm sure we'll stay with Shelbyville due to the closeness

Brett,
Those guys from Springfield are a little "upity" and would never step foot in Licking. They would however find those 250' fences attractive. MT and SN could then hit a ball out. :)
