Jan. 22, 2005 TaterinGa Men's 50 179 posts | Charlie Adcock Passed Away Charlie Adcock of the 2000-01 Faith Electric Team passed away of a heart attack. He was about 57 years old & one of the top 3rd basemen in Senior Softball, a great competitor & was a top national pool player. But that does not describe the real Charlie; he was a great person & husband; Senior Softball & all who knew him will have a big void missing in their heart; all will be deeply sadened by his passing. The funeral will be conducted by Stewart Funeral Home (770.979.5010), Snellville, Ga. on Tuesday 2PM @ Westminister Church also of Snellville. I have left the above number if you wish to get the address to send flowers. That is all the info that I have; Charlie was in awesome shape & according to the info I received was not having any problems. I only knew him for 5 years, but it seemed we had been friends forever. Jan. 24, 2005 DoubleL10 Men's 70 907 posts | Although I never had the opportunity to play on the same team as Charlie, I've played against him many times and have spoken with him on several occasions. As Tater says, Charlie was a top notch player and a fine gentleman. Softball has lost a true class act. My heartfelt prayers are with his family and friends. Larry Lopez |

Jan. 28, 2005 jax21 Men's 55 14 posts | I have played against Charlie since 1998. He was a great player with a great attitude. I always looked forward to exchanging barbs w him and just talking trash at each other. I am shocked that he is gone. Heart attack at age 57. No previous signs or symptoms. Just Bang, and he's dead. |
Jan. 29, 2005 TaterinGa Men's 50 179 posts | I would like to thank all the people who inquired about Charlie Adcock. He was getting ready to retire & concentrate more on his pool game. Friends are something we need to cherish everyday, because tomorrow they may not be around. John AKA Taterman |
