DCP / CRUSHER-- there is an irving league that plays at trinity view park, the park is just east of LOOP #12 and highway #356/ irving blvd. the night league starts in late march. we have got over 45's, 50's,55's that are pretty competitive, last year they played on tuesday nites, 6:30, 7:30,8:30. monday nites , the older, weaker teams play, same time, over 55's, 60,65's,70's. there is a mixture of tournament teams that play here in the group. they are over 50,55,60,65,70. as far as 60's, there are a couple that are in process of forming now in irving. 65'S- there are 2 teams classified AAA in the irving area, one 65-AA IN PLANO. there is a DAY LEAGUE that plays twice during the week in the mornings, this league has about 5-7 teams, that plays home and away in irving, desoto, arlington, farmers branch , and ft worth, this is the A LEAGUE. there is also a "B" AND "C" LEAGUE. A league allow miken ultra-2s, the b & c league do not. IF YOU NEED MORE INFO, EMAIL ME: flarmijo@sbcglobal.net, i can provide some ph # and posibly some email addresses of the people in charge of the league, and some of the teams. frank PSl there is also a senior league that plays in richardson, but i dont know the particulars.

Thank you all for the info. I will be 64 in May, so not eligible for 65 team for another year. I should be able to play at AAA or AA. I live east of
Dallas, but I'm retired so I can travel

DCP and Crusher,

There is also a senior league in Richardson that has played at Heights Park the past two years due to reconstruction of some of the fields. I don't believe it's yet been decided where we will plsy this year, but probably back at Heights (Floyd Road just south of Arapaho).

Google Dallas Area Senior Softball Association and you can find contact information for the leage officers.

This league is not quite as strong as the one at Trinity View, but it's a lot more convenient if you live in the north suburbs. We've gotten quite a few new, younger players the last couple of years and the league is getting stronger. There are quite a few tournament players sprinkled among the teams.

James,

Just posted at the DASSA website.

League will play at Heights Park, Floyd Rd at Arapaho in Richardson.

Tuesday night league starts 3/2. Thursday night league starts 3/4. Some teams only play one night; others play both nights.

I will forward your e-mail to a couple of people, but you should contact Dominic Greco (phone number on Dallas Area Senior Softball Association site). He's real good at getting newcomers placed on teams.
