Las Vegas friendships
I wanted to thank all the guys that came up this weekend and said hi (too many to name here) that I have talked with here on the board. So many guys out here realize that meeting people is a big part of what this is all about. This has been a fun year so far, meeting guys at a new level and creating (at least for me) new rivalries. Congratulations to D&K for winning it. We look Forward to seeing you in Reno! Master Collision-2--1 run games, we will be looking to reverse that, too!!

Webbie,

Great seeing you this weekend, the two games we had against GSF were great games. You guys showed guts coming back and making it close in the first one when we had you down so far. The second one on Sunday was a classic back and forth and we just happened to have the hammer. Always great to see Steve, Ron, Mike and the rest of the GSF guys.

D & K - congratulations again, both games on Sunday were great. We just ran out of gas late in the IF game and you guys played very well.

See you all down the road.

Webbie,

Sorry we missed meeting eachother, I'm sure we passed eachother a few times going back & forth to the fields..I didn't know you played for Master Collision, otherwise I would have asked someone where were you! I played on the 55 Fangabbers and I saw a few guys from your team, but was unaware which one was you...I need to buy you that beer I owe you....lol Maybe we'll connect in Reno..

Webbie, goforit,

I'm sittin in the stands watching GSF and Master Collsion go back and forth, each hitting some monster Hrs over the 40 foot net that is behind the 300 foot fence, and thinking to myself...."Man.. and we have to play these guys!" Two great teams!

Yea goforit, we split 2 and 2 againt each other. You guys won the first and third game, and we just happen to win the 2nd and forth game. All 4 games were nail bitters,

Webbie25, second meeting was better than the first I must say. GSF has always had some great ball players(Freddy. Ron, Corkey), but adding Mike and Joe Rinaldi(is my spelling close)you guys look scary.

I would like to say to my team mates, You guys step up when it counted, those 2 wins were the Wins we needed as a Team to Step up to the.... "Next Level".

Congrates to NCI and FanGrabbers for their Wins also.

Thanks Senior Softball for a Good Tourney

To my 40s team ...Show Time...you'll do better
when you start showing up for BP on Wednesday.

Kennard,

I understand the service station was putting out yellow cones and closing pumps after you almost hit a guy pumping gas.

Congrats to DK/NextLevel and Master Collision.

GSF looks forward to our next meeting.

You are unquestionably the largest leadoff hitter I have ever seen. I think I will see if I can get Tommy to considering moving me to leadoff.

rightrj1--sorry I missed you, too. I got to talk to so many guys here, guess I should have made a list of everyone. I wasn't playing for Master, Collision, I was with GSF-big blue knee brace, lefthanded hitter that struggled some this weekend. I saw most of you guys on the Fangrabbers, too, including George. Maybe we can catch you in Reno.
Mike-watch that leadoff position for our team-it was cursed this weekend!!

Hey webbie,
I think we did have a little conversation, I believe on Friday...I was asking you about your brace cause I notice the knee cap cover you had along with the brace. I was playing 50's on the bandits, I wear the different color shoes..Steve Emlay is a friend of mine...Ok at least I know what you look like, so we'll get together in reno for that beer.

Great tourney and all games were close in Las Vegas in the 60 Major Plus. Congratulations to D&K for winning a very competitive tournament which is what Senior Softball is all about. Well deserved as all of you played great softball and you hit the heck out of the ball.

Master Collision deserves praise for having a very strong showing and giving D&K everything they could want. It was a pleasure playing against two teams that are very competitive and great gentlemen as well. Very impressive showing by both teams and I'm looking forward to playing both teams down the road.

Well run tournament in beautiful Las Vegas - Thank you LVSSA/SSUSA!!
Teams that didn't come missed a great environment. Great to see so many friends and fellow softball players....

OMG...I forgot to add the HOF Steve Imlay to my GSF post. Steve hit a few over the net. Steve I love to play against Friends/ex-Team mates (Steve played on our 50s & 60s BASA Team West Coast). And there are a few friends on GSF.

Hey Mike, Leading Off?
I don't know if you like taking walks. Colorado's MC walked me 6 times Sunday in the Final 2 game play offs.

Besides Webbie is a little smaller than you and faster.LOL and like You said "He sure can Hit".

I was really looking forward, to see more Teams from the North, East and South. I remember ten years ago, When we came to LV there would teams from Florida, Virginia. New York (East coast) Washington, Oregon, Texas...even Chicago/Indiana/Ohio.

Minnesota(We played) still has a Great Major Team that has been together for over 10 years,They sent us home last year in the 60 Major Division at the SPA in Dalton,Ga., We were looking for some "payback". Great game, even though we had to give up 5 runs(Still don't like that rule), But it is what it is! Good 1 run Game guys.

I am looking forward to see New and Old Friends again. Real soon I hope.

Kennard-we also need to sit down for a beer, but only after we beat you---lol. I had forgotten what it was like playing the top level-it has been a long time. It would be hard to go back to AAA now.

Speaking of Las Vegas Friends,
Rick Perez and wife drop by Arroyo Grande to watch a few games. He sure looked good. Says he not even interested in playings. Loves golfing. The Las Vegas Stars, Now that was a Major Plus Team.
