Curious about Bat Bags
Which one does everyone recommend? Also, what does a well-stocked bag carry?

Worth from Direct Sports for $54.
Big wheels. Added support on back of bag for strength.
Will carry Shoes, 3 bats, glove, cold drinkin insulated pouch, and then you can add a ton of un-needed junk. And is made of heavy/strong material.

Only drawback for me is the Fence Hooks are inside a zipper, would prefer on outside of bag.

You probably can find many GOOD Strong bags out there.

I have Tanel 360 "Rage" bags in stock. They are strong, well built and have tons of room for everything including extra bats, hitting tee and room for your cleats. Give me a ring. (970) 728-3144 or 729-3145.

I have tried each of the big team bags on the market today, I have never gotten more then one season out of any of them except the Boombah, I have dragged it thru airports and their baggage claims, and at least 12 tournaments a year for the past 3 years. The only damage so far is due to my lazy ass dragging it over obstacles that I shouldnt have and it has a few small holes in the end plate. When this one wears out I will certainly replace it with another of the same brand and model.
It carries 10 bats, 2 gloves, 2 pair of Tanel 360 shoes and many more things that I probably never see until the year end clean out.
Ed that Melee you sold me is finally getting broken in after a year and 4 months, it is every bit as strong as the Miken for pop. And that rattle is still there, I think you were right, it isnt anything more then dried glue that broke off inside. So far none of the Umps have flagged it on me.

Happy New Year guys!

Thanks to everyone for your responses. Since our grandchildren got all my excess funds for Christmas, it will probably be early Spring before I can purchase! Jerry, I will talk to you in Montgomery.

not really on this subject, but as I typed, asking contents of a well-stocked bat bag, I remembered a young team I had from some years ago. The same right fielder I write about under softball's funniest stories walked into my dugout one night and accidentally dropped his bat bag. The first thing that fell out was his 357. magnum!

I would only buy a bag that had shelves to keep everything from falling to the bottom of the bag.The only bag that I have found with shelves would be the Boombah.

The Tanel Rage has shelves and I recently flew to/from Florida with mine packed with gloves, 10 softballs, hitting tee, softball uniforms, 6 bats and more. I have 4 new bags in stock and I will be bringing them and new hitting tees to Tucson in late January. Call me for any assistance. Ed (970) 729-3145- ed@ewandrews.com
