How come in that game against "It Is What It Is" there are about 8 guys standing outside the dugout?

When we have one extra guy out there, the ump always calls time and tells us to move back!

I would say to get a 14-incher. It really helps with dives or stretches. I like the Rawlings "Gold Glove Co." models.

You guys don't know how to work the system! I asked for 03C Special Services and got it. Actually scheduled sports tournaments from an office.

Discussion: Elderly Care

Hey Jano--
I would recommend an assisted care living facility. My Mom stays in one and I know a lot about them. They start at about $2000 a month and you can add whatever extra help you need for a fee (obviously).

So you can pay for someone to come in and give them their pills, get them dressed, etc.

Discussion: Understanding tie-breakers

In looking at some of the tie-breakers, I am confused. Look at the 60-AAA in Phoenix. Twelve teams finished 1-1 in seeding play, along with 3 teams that were 2-0. Syracuse got the #4 seed (one of the many 1-1 teams), even though 4 other teams gave up fewer runs (they were all 1-1).

Is this right?

Discussion: Huntsman round robin games a farce !

This is another reason all teams should keep stats and pass them out. It keeps the players competitive and doesn't let them "sandbag" as much.

You need to give a lot more information. Like what position do you play? What is your normal batting average? Do you have any power? Where do you usually hit in the lineup?

Discussion: Rerating practices

As a member of the Base Hawgs, the "story" is that we won the Cal Cup last year with a full team, beating out 5 other teams. Even Fran said before the tournament that winning it wouldn't be enough to move us up with that small group of AA teams.

Then we lost 2 of our sluggers to knee surgeries, and we were not the same team. We sent them our average scores for the last 4 tournaments and they agreed we should be moved back down to AA.

Discussion: Response / Question

As far as the airline prices go, Southwest Airlines has very cheap prices when they first put their dates up (about 6 months ahead). You can go from one end of the country to the other for under $200 if you book it early enough (on the internet, of course). The closer you get to the date, the higher the price.

I cancelled my membership too. AAA is a much better way to book your hotels. I don't think I benefited once from AARP.

I don't buy it. If I had the results in front of me I could fill in the files and upload them in 1-1 1/2 hours. I have even offered to do it for them, but they're not interested.
