Hey Dddddbax, "YOU WANT SOME CHEESE WITH THAT WINE" Like i said before i've played approx 15 senior tournaments in vegas in the 50's and approx 80% of the games I've played at show rock and Hollywood, so if my math is right thats approx 60 games up there. I agree the two parks suck but its time you guys played a few years up there and let the 50's enjoy playing at Lorenzi, BLD, and arroyo grande for a few years. Fair is Fair......

I think LB Softball is full, I noticed in vegas they picked up a guy from AZ thats pretty good. They were missing 2 or 3 guys because of last min back outs in vegas.

5$(actually 4$ with the token) is small price to play just as long as I don't have to play at shadow rock and hollywood....I'd take arroyo grande any time, sunset station is 5 mins away, everything is 45 to 60 mins away at shadow rock and hollywood weird....Just think the winter session costs 745$ plus 5$ a day at BLD....

FOFO: you weren't bitching just whining alittle...

I agree 5$ per day is to much for such a big tourney with an entry fee of 595$. The cost should be 2$ maybe 3$ or just leave it at 5$ for the whole weekend. Learn how to sneak in its easy, there is only youngsters working the gate they don't care.... ANYTHING IS BETTER THEN PLAYING AT SHADOW ROCK AND HOLLYWOOD!!!!!!

FOFO: quit bitching, in all the vegas senior tournaments I've played in(15) I've play at shadow rock and hollywood about 75% of the time, Ive never played at BLD. I thought I was in paradise at arroyo grande one time. You get stuck there once, big freaking deal, suck it up and enjoy the view especially at night, thats about all there is up there... LOL LOL About the only place to go up there is TIMBERS BAR & GRILL, East Lake Mead Blvd & Mt Hood Street....

Nothing wrong with Arroyo Grande, Its got my vote. Cheyenne no way played there in my early 30's when the light poles were inside the fences and in play, Lorenzi used to be the same way. LOL LOL The good old days playing in the Budweiser tournaments in vegas. Lorenzi isn't in nicest area of town either.

Its about time other teams and people are to seeing the problem 50AAA is facing year after year after year in vegas spring and winter. Shadow Rock and hollywood need to be retired for the list of fields used by senior softball.

Are you putting the 50's on the getto fields, shadow rock and hollywood out on the far north east side
of vegas this year miles from anything, or are you gonna do something different for us this year, my fingers are crossed.

Discussion: Major 40+ Brackets

Hey hook we were stuck at shadow rock and hollywood park for all of the 50's tourney what a treat those places are, pretty much getto....

Just be thank full your not a shadow rock there is absolutely nothing to do out there, the snack bar is terrible. Hope your not a holloywood park either nothing there at all just a few water coolers and a porta potty LOL LOL. your So far north east at these two parks you have no time to go anywhere decent between games. We never had a chance to go to BLD and have an oppurtunity to buy bats or nice senior shirts or swag. I heard out at shadow rock as of 9am friday in the 50's tourney that all the nice senior vegas shirts where all gone, none were available to us at shadow or hollywood not even bats, how sad...

What can we expect for 695$ per team (484 teams = $336,380.00) WOWWWW!!!

Discussion: 55AAA Bracket

I dont understand why the brackets cant be kept up to date and filled out as the games end. It doesn't take a computer nerd to do this. I watched the tournament directors at shadow rock and hollywood parks sitting in there chairs doing nothing while the games are being played, they could be emailing or txt'n the winners and losers and scores or even calling in as the games finish to a central computer and have a person that, thats all they do is post the info from each park in almost real time or at least no more then a 30 min delay. I do this type of stuff on a daily basis and its so simple to do anybody could it.

I did some research on the teams we were playing in fridays seating games on google and came across brackets from senior softball from 2012 that were not filled out, so this has been a problem for a long time. With smartphones and tablets now a days it would be nice to be able to keep up to date on who's winning and who's losing in real time almost as its happening. One person dicated to keeping the brackets updated would be nice and very much appreciated by all the teams, its always nice to know who your playing next when your not at the park or how your hometown teams are doing at other parks.

Discussion: Shadow Rock & Hollywood Field Conditions

What do these to parks look like this year, just as crappy as last year? If google earth is any indication then they look terrible. Did they trim hollywood park foul lines this year? Last year grass was growing 3 or 4 feet into foul territory from the foul lines.

Hey dave, if the 50'sAAA bring in the most teams why is it we get the worst and farthest away fields? You would think with the big number of teams and the amount money($$$) we bring in we would get the best field and the divisions with the least teams gets whats left. If you say it takes 10 fields to run the 50's then we should have BLD(6 fields) and lorenzi(4 fields) and plus there pretty close to each other.

Discussion: When?

Why is it the 50AAA never gets to play at BLD? Every big vegas tournament its the same thing 50AAA stuck with hollywood park, shadow rock parks on the far out skirts east of town. Hollywood fields have to be the worst fields in vegas, did you guys trim the foul lines, last year this time there was two feet of grass growing across the dirt towards the fence, VERY CLASSY!!!!! Plus the grass on the fields looked like it hadnt been mowed in a month.

Come out lets us play at BLD how hard is it...!!!!!!!!

Don't feel bad we were told we would play in mesquite(50's) when we signed up then low and behold we get stuck in st. george and no rooms in st george as of friday nite, thanks senior softball. All the guys made reservations in mesquite now we get the approx 60 plus mile or so round trip for 3 days. First and last time I play in this tournament. I looked at the fields up there on google earth and there doesnt look like there is enough parking, am I right, do we need to stake a claim to a spot thursday nite for the weekend?....How about some gas money SSUSA?
