Discussion: DARK CLOUDS IN 65 MAJOR PLUS

Wow, a mistake made and admitted. Why would a good team need to do such a thing on purpose? No real reason, it's not like something like this would go unnoticed (which it didn't.) Taking this to a public board and bashing a respected and solid individual's reputation way out of line.
Accepted the prescribed punishment and moved on, which we did.
The 65 Major Plus is a very competitive level of softball with some of the classiest and respectful teams in all of the Senior Softball. Tremendous respect within the ranks of the teams and managers, no one has the need or desire to take unfair advantage of each other.
I can guarantee no cheap trick or lowdown move was carried out by anyone on the Timberworks team. We are all human and make mistakes-stuff happens!!!

It was a fun day with lots of hard work put in by everyone. In the process of putting video's with comparisons on your swing with some additional comments and getting that out to all that attended. Looking at scheduling next rounds of Hitting Academies. Looking at second week in May in Phoenix and then will look at California and possibly Las Vegas.

Discussion: Ball Exit Speed Testing and top Pro Speed Demos..Swing Makeover #52

Bogie another great video, really enjoy watching the Pro's swing. I have the Pocker Radar on my website under store. We use it in our Slowpitch Hitting Academies. Easy to use and accurate tool to help in swing development and keep track of your progress plus it's a lot of fun to work use. The more you use it, the better the information and understanding the information. Offer senior discount and discount if you attend one of our Academies. Exit speed is where it's at not bat speed (although bat speed can be important.)

Working on a schedule for all of the softballers coming out to Phoenix for baseball's spring training. We will put a schedule that will get you through the Academy and give you plenty of time to get to the games. Visit my website and let me know some good dates and we will get it scheduled.

Working on one or two Academies in Southern California last half of March.

Discussion: Brace Leg Drill balances Rotation and Snap..Swing Makeover #47

Bill, a great post and it shows how hitting is always a work in progress and you consistently will have to adapt and look at new approaches while maintaining solid mechanics. Bogie's videos give us a solid approach towards those swing mechanics and his drills are essential for developing our approach to hitting consistently a slow pitch softball. Everyone has their own approach you definitely have pointed an alternative great way to accomplish that. Good luck this year!!

You can use sandbags and that works well, maybe even better than the stakes.

I know the person that sjuhoops is referring to and he would be an asset for any 65 major team. He can be a difference maker. Quality player and person!!!

I use the G-Tee and very satisfied with the quality and durability of theTee. I put it in my bat bag (the G-Tee fits perfectly) so If I'm struggling I can go hit a few balls and work on my mechanics.

Bob,
You are correct, I have no notification from anyone on those teams. It would be a great tournament if they do show up.
Hopefully, will see you in Reno. You have a very good team as always.

For those of us who have played ball with Kenny, we just expect for him to hit .900 and he almost always does. He played great for the Summy Nighthawks this past weekend. Want to congratulate all the Arizona teams and players for doing so well this past week in Vegas. Great job and keep it up. Dbax sorry you guys got stuck in Shadow Rock.

Discussion: Combat Rocket Launcher

I have been hitting the new Rocket Launcher and I’m very impressed with the results of the final version of the bat. It hits hot right out of the wrapper with great distance and has a lot of movement on the line drives. It has a large end load and does swing a little heavy and I would recommend that you drop down in weight with this bat. I did a comparison with a well broken in Dudley and the Rocket Launcher did outperform by a good 10 feet. Performance plus the 30-day money back performance guarantee that Kelly’s Ultimate Sports are offering are going to make this into a top selling bat. I’m not compensated for this review it’s just an honest evaluation of the bat and its performance.
