| July 2, 2021 Dugout | Topic: Rules of the game Discussion: just wondering the rule at the beginning of the game teams exchanges balls when deciding who is home team with the ump at home with your initials of your team to identify your ball to hit. the pitchers is supposed to be aware of what ball he is using correct. your team comes to bat and the ball seems dead not sounding right after the second batter bats and have 1 or 2 outs the third batter hits foul ball in corner so coach throws in new ball which he is holding and we get ball hit in corner ...the ball is dirty and used before and has initials from other team. what is the recourse from this that should happen ...just curious ...thinking pitcher should be ejected or replay inning from start ? kinda like getting caught with an illegal bat? i consider it cheating on their end and its not like they were a new team been around for some time ... just looking for what should of been done .... |

Why don't you as a player use a normal bat meaning 1.20 they are good enough with the ball being as hard as they are ..us as players are falling right into the hands of the bat manufacturers. |
