Discussion: Home runs allowed

What is the home run allotment for each skill level, and has it always been that amount, or did it recently get changed. Also, is these homerun allotment the same for all age divisions. Thanks

Here's my understanding:

AA. - 1 HR
AAA - 3 HRs
MAJOR. - 6 HRs
MAJOR + 9 HRs

Hey, just looking to help out for Winter Worlds. I'm 63yrs old, 6'4", 235lbs. I hit for average, 700+, I have great power, can clear 310' fence. I play 1st base really well. Can EH, catch, and the outfield pretty good. I'm rated a 60 major. Text me if interested, I live in Arizona. Randy 602-291-2164

Hey, my team folded, looking to play Winter Worlds, and more. I'm 63, 6'4" tall, 235lbs, play 1st really good, hit for good power, and depending on how you score walks, I hit 750, get walked a lot. I'm rated 60 major. I can play outfield pretty good, but probably just on Sunday, need recovery time, knees. If interested, call or text. Thanks. Randy 602-291-2164

Discussion: Unable to access brackets for tournaments

Hey, can anyone help me, I cannot open, download or see any of the brackets from any age level. I have an android phone, does this site not compatible with androids? I had no problem when I used my wife's phone, which is a I-Phone. That's not an option when I'm in a tournament and she's at home. Thanks for any advice.

Discussion: Roster olayers

Please clarify for me how many major players can be on a AAA Team.
Also, part 1, can a roster have too many majors on a roster, but only bring the legal amount to a tournament.
And part 2, if the team is a 60 AAA Team, is a guy 65 major, still considered major on the 60 AAA Team. Thanks for your input.

Discussion: Home plate issue

Dave, I understand your rule. You know a play at the plate pretty much a bang bang play. When the car her reached out to get the ball, as fast as possible, That mat moves on the reach catch, bang bang, the mat slips, the runner scores. There was no time for any searching for the plate. Come on Dave, you guys really think us ballplayers are stupid when asking these questions? It's a concern, treated with a little respect.

Discussion: Home plate issue

Is there some way to solve a moving home plate mat. We had a play a home, the catcher was on the mat, reached ,stretched, out to receive the ball before the runner. In doing so, the mat got pushed away as the catcher was reaching for the ball, which was received by the catcher in the air, causing the catcher not to be on the mat. The runner was called safe. If the mat didn't move, the runner was out.

Thanks Dave, I've tried everything. I've been working with Verizon technical support for an hour with no luck. Just heard from a teammate, and his android didn't allow him to download either, but it did on his laptop. Weird.

Trying to get help opening the files for the brackets. Directors closed their threads, so I thought I'd try here. I can't seem to see any of the age brackets, open or download. Been having this problem for about 6 months. Would like to know what I might be doing wrong. Thanks for any suggestions. Be respectful in your response, not everyone is computer literate.

Discussion: Looking to play in Vegas,

Looking to help a team in Vegas in April. I can play 55 AAA or Majors. I'm 6'4", 235lbs, hit with power and for average. Play 1st base quite well, can play outfield, EH or even catch. My regular team isn't going so I'm interested in playing with someone that needs a player. I live in Arizona. Randy 602-291-2164

Boy, these conversations crack me up. On theoutz, you can't drop out or not sign up, or stay home until teams are made aware of an issue. Now teams are aware, they can make their decision. Also, they're only aware if they see this notice.

Discussion: Covid concern

I was informed that Arizona Sidewinders 65 just dropped out Winter Worlds due to players having the virus. My concern is that these guys also practice during the week with the Arizona Sidewinders 60, and they seem to still be in the tournament. For safety for all, shouldn't these guys get tested. If we end up playing this team, I will be very concerned about my team's health.

Discussion: Archie Gubler Fields

To the guys who expressed their opinions on Gubler ballfields, I agree, but Mr Dowell will never see our view point. He should run for a political office. The grounds crew was poor, when they watered, they flooded batter's box and never raked it out. The Canyon was better taken care of, awesome fields. With Covid shut down of Vegas, we have to play where we can.

I believe 4th place in 60 AAA went to Vector Scorpions, out of Florida, the Eastern National and National Champions. Good tournament to all.

Discussion: Team forfeiting their seeding games

I read a team would not be playing their seeding games, but be at the field for the start of the bracket play. SSUSA stated that the team would be seeded last, which I agree on, but then SSUSA stated that the team would start in the losers bracket, which I don't agree with. SSUSA stated rule 15.5... where are these rules so I can see how you came to this reasoning.

Thanks
