Vegas Worlds - Field Assignments
Is it safe to assume (damn I hate that word) that the field assignments given to the 55 Majors will continue throughout the length of the tourney? In other words, will Sunset Park and/or Arroyo Grande be where the Friday, Sat and/or Sun games will be held?

H² ... The 55-Major Schedule AND Bracket are both posted ... Thursday pool play is at Sunset and Arroyo Grande ... Friday and Saturday Bracket play at both Arroyo Grande and Russell Rd. ... Depending on where you seeded, you will play (only) ONE day at each of those two facilities ... Sunday survivors will ALL be at Arroyo Grande ... Good luck! ... D²

D² >> As I see it (55 major), there is a note that states "USA National Game Champion is the #1 Seed bracket" and repeats a second time. Is the second entry suppose to read "runner-up is the the #2 seed"?

H² ... Good catch ... Noted and fixed, and also put a "watermark" notice in the #1 and #2 slots of the bracket ... Thanks! ...

Trying to get help opening the files for the brackets. Directors closed their threads, so I thought I'd try here. I can't seem to see any of the age brackets, open or download. Been having this problem for about 6 months. Would like to know what I might be doing wrong. Thanks for any suggestions. Be respectful in your response, not everyone is computer literate.

t_t ... The only suggestion I would have is to see if you can find out what software, and what version of it, your device(s) may be using in trying to open/view the files ... They are generated using "Adobe Acrobat", which is pretty much the industry standard ... Adobe's "Acrobat Reader" is updated frequently and is generally available free of charge ... Maybe browse through www.adobe.com and see what they have? ... Good luck!

Thanks Dave, I've tried everything. I've been working with Verizon technical support for an hour with no luck. Just heard from a teammate, and his android didn't allow him to download either, but it did on his laptop. Weird.

t_t ... I also have an Android phone (Samsung Galaxy S9) but I can download and view the PDF files ... Another user whispered to me a potential workaround, so I'll try to see over the next couple of days if that works ... Thanks for your patience ...

Hey, it worked when I used my wife's I-Phone, so for now, that's the way I'll go. See ya All in Vegas.

t_t ... Glad that works for you on an interim basis ... You're a brave man to employ the "political solution" by commandeering her phone! ... [grins] ... Good luck!

Put them at Shadow Rock and Hollywood Dave and see how much they will then appreciate BLD.

FOFO ... No kidding! ... It's been a major challenge this year after Clark County took six fields out of the inventory ... Desert Breeze #1-4 and Shadow Rock #3-4 are dark to the public while rehabilitation work is being done ... But there is good news ... We still have a couple days left in the last of the entry periods and we're sitting on 655 teams right now, which shatters the former tournament record by over 30 teams so far ... Good luck everyone! ...

FOFO, I for one have played at both Shadow Rock and Hollywood and prefer those to the short BLD fields.

Hey Murray,
As I live in Las Vegas I have played on both for years and as the 60M was stuck at Shadow Rock for the SW Championships I have seen them recently. There was a time when the were decent but that time has long since past. I'll take BLD and a little bat control any day.
Dave, why don't you use City fields?
Lorenzi has two great fields still usable and Doc Romeo I believe 5 and both bet the hell out of Shadow Rock, Hollywood and Cheyenne.

FOFO ... Lorenzi used to be an absolute first class facility and one of my favorites in the 4-field configuration ... As a two-field option, it's less attractive from a scheduling perspective ... Doc Romeo is also, effectively, only a two-field utilization ... It's only three fields because Fields #1-4 are Little League ... The adult fields (#5-7) were fairly nice ... But the last time we used Doc, the City wouldn't allow any division that might hit a home run play on #5 because of it's proximity to the kids' skate park ... The CLV is also the world's leader in red-tape hassles to secure permits and their per-game rental rates were, at the time, the most expensive in the country ... I certainly miss both facilities as they were in their heyday, but neither justifies even a second glance today ...
