Team looking for players for Las Vegas Worlds
We are the Calgary Fatboys from Canada. We play in 50 AAA division on October 4-7 this year in Las Vegas. We are short players for the tourney. If you are going to be in Vegas for that tourney and interested in playing ; please let us know. You can not be a Major player. Text or call Kelly Wanvig at 403 836 2262. Thank you

We can pick from anywhere. I thought we were only allowed to pick from our division or lower. I will get clarification.

Kelthehel .. There's a "white paper" on this topic available from the RULES page of this website ... It's titled: World Masters Championships Roster Considerations & Rules • Player Roster Add rules PDF digital file and should cover most situations ... If still not sure, please call the SSUSA eligibility folks for assistance at (916) 326.5303 ... Good luck!

We are allowed to pick up a major player if he is 55 or older.

It depends on how many players you already have on your qualifying roster ... General Rule: As a 50-AAA team, you may add otherwise eligible (as to age and residency) player(s) who have a team rating experience history of 55-Major until you get to 12 on the roster ... You may also add three (3) more to get to 15, but they must be 55-AAA or lower rated experience history ... Again, please call the SSUSA eligibility folks at (916) 326.5303 to get authoritative answers ... Absent all of the facts, please don't presume that general rule automatically fits for you ... Thanks! ...

Hi Kelly, I know a few players and will let them know you need a player.

Region: You can add a player from any Province in Western Canada or State Bordering (if you know any).

Good luck.

My apologies to everyone. I was incorrect in who we are allowed to pick up. We are only allowed to acquire players from Western Canada and surrounding states.

SSUSA Staff: I can't find the RULES page on this website that you reference. Can you tell me how to navigate to this page? Thanks!

put your mouse on the"Tournaments" heading (right next to "Home") and you will see "Rules" just below "2018 Events".

jgoff5113, that is definitely not me, but it is on the dropdown under Tournaments above. If for some reason you cannot get to it on your device, use this link https://seniorsoftball.com/?page=7.

Thanks mck71 and Nancy Allen. I did see the RULES link under Tournaments, but when I try to hover my mouse pointer over RULES, it disappears. So I used the link that Nancy sent and that worked.

mck71 and I must have been typing at the same time. I know that I cannot get to Rules on this computer either through the dropdown; so I am glad that the link worked. Have fun.

Just a note. If you have your browser window at anything other than full screen, the dropdown items will disappear when you try to hover over it. So make your browser window full screen and it should work.
You get what you pay for and this is FREE advice.

This computer is running Internet Explorer 11 under Windows 10 and even in full screen, I can't select it. From my phone or tablet, there is no problem. Isn't technology wonderful? I appreciate the advice, but they probably have this system jacked (pun intended) to not work right. I have other interesting issues with it as well.
