Equalizer clarification
Need to get a clarification of equalizer rule when a 70M plays a 65AAA (# of players, HR’s, runs)

"NO Equalizer" game ... The Rating Index numbers are equal (R/I=4) ...
• HR limit is 3 per team per game, outs thereafter (the AAA Rule as the LESSER rated team in the game) ...
• Runs per ½-inning at bat = Five (5), except for the "open inning" ...
• The 70-Major team plays with 11 Defensive players and the 65-AAA plays with 10 ... NOTE: Age 70+ and more senior teams are always entitled to their basic defensive alignment of 11 (or 12 for 85+) players ... It is NOT an equalizer when you are permitted to play your native defense, despite the "debate" that accompanies this circumstance in every event we run! ...

We had this same controversy at the Aggieland Classic. Our team, San Antonio Silver Streaks, was protested by a 65 AAA team for using our native defensive alignment of 11 players. The tournament director had to call Sacramento for clarification even after being told the rule by several of us on the Silver Streaks.
Hopefully, this won’t happen again in Grapevine.

Dave, didn't you mean 70 or older teams plays with native 11 players alignment??

CORRECTION • Maybe the Director needs to have this tattooed on his posterior ...

IT'S NEVER AN EQUALIZER WHEN A 70+ OR OLDER TEAM PLAYS WITH ITS NATIVE DEFENSIVE ALIGNMENT OF 11 PLAYERS!

Dave, I think that's a visual we can all do without... lol
