IS SURF88 THE ONLY REP THAT DOES ANYTHING FOR REEBOK?

I have been reading the message board for sometime now.

It appears that if you want to get anything done concerning Customer Service for Reebok bats Surf88 is the only reliable source to contact.

All though I have never met or dealt with him, it seems that Surf88 is doing a very good job for Reebok.

It's too bad that I'm getting the impression that the rest of the Reebok Customer Service really SUCKS!

Maybe Surf88 should be Reebok's VP of Customer Service?

FIRST OF ALL: 1) i am not ed andrews brother in law, family friend, etc. the following is a copy of my post from 2011: take as you wish and whatever it's worth in considering ed's involvement with reebok problems. i am sure my sentiments can be reflected by quiet a few players that post on here. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Aug. 4, 2011

Discussion: Reebok Customer Service

got mine in jan of 2011, broke in 70 deg heat (35 hits). i got ahold of ed andrews, he got in touch in the r & d dept and got me an rma. i sent back the bat for inspection late jan. i mentioned to ed andrews that i would be at the T.O.C. in florida in feb. i got a surprise call on my cell during the T.O.C. , one of the reebok sales boys, met me at the banquest in the hanger and brought me a brand new bat. i dont think anybody else would have done what these people did. i appreciated the extra effort. i have broken 7-8 miken bats in the last 5-7 years, i have never gotten a replacement from them. maybe reebok is having a few problems with some bats, but at least they are trying to make things right in replacing the broken ones. i can not speak for their customer service people, i only dealt with ed andrews , and he is trying to help everybody. if you back track the old posts thru jan. on this website, you 'll see that ed has been fully engaged in the reebok problem. the replacement i got in feb is still going strong, never used it in less than 65 deg weather. in case you are wondering, i dont know ed andrews and i am not a reebok sales rep. frank armijo texas legends 65's PS: hope you all resolve your problems

I dont have a problem with Ed.He tried. My problem is with REEBOK.Warranty a bat for a year and then wont stand behind that warranty.Shouldnt make any difference what I paid for it.They made it and should have stood behind it.They SUCK.....You guys say they have replaced your non warranty bats yet they wont replace one that has a one year warranty.Go figure.Screw me once, your fault, screw me twice then thats my fault.I dont plan on ever buying anything with a REEBOK name on it again.

MurrayW, a great point. My pastor says that when people drop by asking for a handout, he always volunteers to contact their home church to work something out with their normal pastor or priest. Of course, not one in 20 has such a relationship. He wonders why they expect him to help when they have never been part of helping others though a church when they weren't down on their luck.

Did you just compare buying bats to church/pastor?
