Discussion: Address Change

I moved to Texas back in May. I made the address change on the SSUSA website, but it shows my current Texas address as being in California, and there's no way to change the state on the website? I tried contacting the office, but no one is there to answer the phone? If anyone from SSUSA can assist with this issue, your help would be appreciated.

Discussion: Just Moved to North Texas

Just move to North Texas. Looking for either 50 Major or 55 Major Team to join. I've played Both 50 Major and 55 Major over the last several years. I played with Kawakazi 50M, Stadium 50M and Vegas Strong 55M. I recently been playing with Bad Attitude 50M. I can play 1st, Catch, but what I do is Hit pretty well. I see Legends of Texas is very near where I am in Sherman. If anyone is interested in a Big Lefty, please contact me. Tom 310-991-8317

Any reason why there isn't a 1.21 Stamp on the Suncoast Bat? This Weekend we played in a USA tournament and they wouldn't allow any Suncoast BBats in the tournament due to not having the 1.21 stamp.

You know, USSSA has a real nice Program that's able to put up results in real time. Maybe SSUSA should contact Utrip/GSL to maybe get in on this modern program?? Just a thought??

I'm 6'4" and the batter was under 6 feet, so it was definitely over his head. I was under the impression that the rule in regards to a ball lined back at the catcher that is caught was an out? I believe the rule changed a few years ago to address this?

Ran into a bit of a controversy yesterday at the 55M Worlds. The batter lined 2 balls back towards the Catcher, one ball glanced off the umpire, the second came back at the catcher and the catcher caught the ball. When the catcher caught the ball, there was two strikes. The ball was caught at head height and was at least well above the batter's head. This in my opinion is an out. What say you??

Discussion: AT18 bat for 2020 from Worth

My first Senior Bat was the Worth Legit. They made them from 2014-15. Great balanced bat, but was durable. Then to replace the Legit, I bought the one piece Worth Wicked after watching Allan hitting scuds with it. I have 4 of those. They are durable and with great performance. I just bought The New Tanner bat and took some BP here in Vegas. It is a great Bat. I've always been a Worth fan ever since the 90's with the EST line. My 2 Cents.

Benji, Not sure what your glitch is? But allow me to respond. The only thing I can relate to on your little list would be the Prostate Exam, which I'm sure you can also relate. Being a 21 Military Veteran and a Former Law Enforcement officer, I find that relying on handouts isnt my scene. But in regards to softball?? Which in the end is a game and not life or death. I'm pretty neutral in regards to the rules, I just want to play, have a good time with my buddies on both teams. And then later, time permitting, have a beer and talk smack. Sounds like a formula for a good life. What do you think?

Dbax, GSL and Utrip run Senior Softball Tournaments. That's what I'm referring to.

Go play a GSL or Utrip Tournament that my 50M Team Stadium does on a regular basis. These tournaments are typically done in 1 day. 6-7 games played is typical.

Throttle Down Benji. Vegas Strong isnt JK. We dont have any conference players on our roster. So, if we are asked to move to a 50 Major bracket at the last moment. We'll take advantage of what is given. Has nothing to do with whether we are men or not, it has to do with age and talent. Playing 50 Major, I've never complained if playing a 55M and they take the runs. I took it as a challenge to score more runs. And in the end, it's softball, not life or death. 20 minutes after a tournament I move on with my life and get back to reality.

Good question. And for some of us, we need to know the start times on Friday to determine whether to come out on Thursday night or Friday morning?

I'm glad the All You Can Eat days are gone. It was boring and tedious. Having a limit allows for what I believe a more competitive and exciting game.

I have 4 one Piece Wicked's, great bat. I purchased the Two piece back in September. Still breaking it in. I have found the Two Piece Wicked a Tougher nut to crack in regards to breaking in, in comparison to the One Piece. Anyone else having this issue?
