IMHO I don't think 7 50 Major Plus guys from one team playing on a few different teams in 40 Major Plus is the same as a complete 50 Major Plus team playing in the 40 Major Plus. 50 year old or older guys playing against guys at least 10 years younger, I think would really make a difference, especially if you have to play a bunch of games like 14. I don't think anybody is questioning that the guys on Sommerville could play in the 40 Major Plus. I would just like to see how they would do, sh*t maybe they even win it. Why not try it, it isn't like the sponsor couldn't afford it. Also congrats to Summy's in 55's Major Plus. |

The MTC 55 team which is ranked 55 Major Plus decided to play down in 50 Majors, that roster can not include any players under the age of 55 nor can they have players out of regional boundaries of any other major team. Swing you are correct those 2 players are 50 and will be playing in 50 Major Plus. I hope this helps clarify your concerns on this matter. Thank you |

Tim has his opinions, I am not saying he is always right nor am I saying he is always wrong. Each and everyone of us has their own opinions and views, but to make negative references towards any persons is unfair unless you truly know that person. I highly doubt either one of you have every just sat down and talk to Tim. I agree that your team Sommerville has many quality teammates and you are a pleasure to watch when you are playing against other quality teams and not against me. Lol |

MTC 50 2014 major Plus I would think W and L must be considered, the objective of the game is to win. So whether you win by one or 20 why should it matter. If you are not winning any games or very few then yes review run differential. A couple teams in one division can really skew the run differential, example you in Reno you went for and 4-3 and all your losses were to Sommerville and they scored 90 runs in those 3 games and you scored 45. You also be every other team in the bracket. |

It was a 2 team tournament and in their seeding games they played 70 majors plus and 65 Major teams. I wouldn't think this would be a good tourney to use, although they did use this type of tourney for a 50 Major Plus team to go down. |

MTC 50 2014 major Plus Every dog has it's day, just like you said caught lighting in a bottle couldn't you guys had a bad tournament in Syracuse ? Just asking in 2014 LV you guys finished in or a little above the middle of the pack of a 62 team tournament and scored over 20 runs in 3 games and 38 in another, you also look like you went flat a couple of games single digits. I just think this is much harder than it looks to determine these decisions. SSUSA is trying to do the right thing. |
