Discussion: CONGRATULATIONS....I THINK...WELL, WHATEVER.

Dbax it must have been a backyarder, didn't see them entered in any of the SSUSA events in April of 2015. We all know backyarders are pretty flexible with player restrictions and guide lines at least in Nor Cal. We can have players ranging from 50 to 65, ranked from AA to Major Plus all on one team.

Discussion: CONGRATULATIONS....I THINK...WELL, WHATEVER.

I must be missing something I looked at the results from 2014 LV
Event Lab went 1-4 and finished in a tie for first team to be eliminated, they didn't even make it into Sunday. They average 20.2 runs per game never scoring more than 27 and as low as 14. He might not be perfect but it looks like he might have gotten this one right.

The team that won went 6-1 and average 19.7 per game and scored as many as 30 and as low as 5 which really skewed the arpg.

Discussion: SSUSA how can we get reclassed? MTC 50 2014 major Plus

Kyphogt,

I noticed you mention that you lost by an average 10-16 runs a game in the Northeast Championships. What was your overall record and if you did win some games who did you beat just curios. To me there just seems to be variables to look at then losing by 10-16 runs a game. You also just pickup 1 or 2 new guys, what's there ranking or past experience. Who knows maybe they are Major Plus chips which forced you to be bumped, just saying.

Discussion: Dudley 12" with rattle.

I own a few Dudleys and the first one I received in March started rattling after about 150 swings, it now has over a 1000 swings and is the hottest one I own. I wouldn't worry to much about the rattle.

Lewis sorry this happened to your teammate. But you do have to understand that there is a lot more variables to the equation than a 160lb 68 year old man with average bat speed with a bat purchased 6-8 months ago having a defective telescoping bat. I hope you get it resolved. Good Luck

Lewis I am sorry I got now it's a defective bat gods knows how many cuts you put on it or what type of balls you used or what the weather was like while you were hitting it for the past 6-8 months. Yeah I got it and I also have a bunch of defective bats like that, I bet like a bunch other guys on this site. LOL

I am sorry I cant blame the manufacture for a bat that is 6-8 months old. I have had 4 worth mutants that have all telescope it is the nature of the beast. Worth 2 piece bats telescope nothing new, sometimes they replace them and some times they don't. In Nor Cal that bat would have made it through a season which is pretty normal for a bat until now with the Dudley's reliability. How long did expect the bat to last?

Is it just me? If I bought a senior bat with no warranty late in 2014 and it broke 6 to 8 months later I wouldn't expect it to be replaced. It if broke within the first 30 days or 20-60 cuts, that would be a different story for me. JMSFHO

Tim,

doesn't lie or cheat, he just states his opinion and how he truly feels. In regards to his team and teammates all of that is 100% true.

1jonsey I disagree with you, in your opening statement you say we appealed to the umpire, so it was you and you got a cheap out and you want to continue to discuss it. It was a CHEAP out and you got away with it let it go. Just my straight forward honest opinion.

courtesy runner
after a base hit the batter asked for a courtesy runner, the umpire called time and the runner left the base and entered the dugout, after a minute the offense figured out that they didn't have a courtesy runner available and sent the original runner back out, upon touching the bag we appealed that the runner had abandoned his bag and entered the dugout and that he should be called out, the umpire hesitated but did call him out, were we right that the runner should have waited until the courtesy runner came out and replaced him?

To answer your question no you shouldn't have even appealed, same runner no advantage taken or given. JMSFHO

JT25,

The HR is fair just the way it is. 3,6,or 9 HR's isn't that enough, I guess not if you really need the 1 up rule. There is a lot a strategy already. JMHO

Discussion: RENO WEATHER

Webbie,

I believe Dave was being sarcastic. Dave is well aware that I was making a joke about the fact that, guys would look at weather forecast 3 weeks in advance for Reno. I guess living in Norcal, I am aware of the spontaneous weather changes that occur in Reno. As many of us know how it rained and snowed on us about 4 years ago but we continued to play at G.E. The weather dropped to 32 degrees.

Yeah don't you play until 2 weeks in Carson City. I wouldn't get to worried about future forecast of 2 weeks. So some of you have been worried about the weather 3 weeks prior to when you play, really 3 weeks in advance.

Discussion: Crazy ACC Schedule Change

Really guys,

Maybe you guys should try running the tournament. I get the times are not what you wanted but are they suppose to be? We used to show up for the first game and then sat around and follow the bracket for two days based on if you win or lose. So teams even got lucky and didn't make to Sunday, I bet they were extremely happy about that. Schedules change, as long as it doesn't affect my travel and lodging expenses it good with me.
