UPDATE- The older divisions at the Polk County Senior Showcase were scheduled to play on FRI / SAT next week. Unfortunately, we do not have access to the park on FRI and will need to squeeze all divisions in on SAT / SUN. All 24 managers received an email on the matter this afternoon and have been asked to provide a response. Once done, I'll get the schedules going-

Teams staying in should expect longer days at the park and earlier start times (no "late" start requests will be accepted). If your team is scheduled to play, have your manager check his or her email.

Thanks- Tim

Today is Weds, still no schedule, how hard is it with 22 teams. How could you not know about not having Fri for games, dont you have a contract?

Steve, Steve, Steve... You really should speak to your manager before making posts like this. He knew a week ago that the entire tournament would be played on SAT / SUN with no games scheduled for FRI. He also received an email with start times on MON. Last night he received yet another email explaining that schedules were revised because 2 teams dropped after schedule posting (1 at 12pm on Tues and another at 4pm on Tues).

Hi leftybob,

I've got nothing to hide here (including my real name). Your manager (Ric Graber) has received 3 emails by my count covering start times and the full schedule. In case you haven't received the information from him, here it is-

Custom Design Cabinets plays at 8:30am (F4) and 10:00am (F3) on Saturday morning. Bracket play in the 60 Major division will kick off at 4:00pm (F4) on Saturday. Is there anything else I can help you with Robert Morse?

Thanks for the shout out. I have had the Saturday schedule for days, but I believe this is a 2 day event. Or did you not have the fields secured for Sunday either?

leftybob - did you try looking on the TOURNAMENTS tab, going to your event and opening up the link entitled "TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE"? Possibly MIGHT need to refresh your browser if it doesn't appear but I see the entire schedule there.

Question: if you had the info for Saturday, why wouldn't your question be "Has the complete schedule been posted or sent out yet? Or "I am playing in the __________ division, do you have the elim schedule for Sunday so I know how to make my plans?"

Good luck!

How come when people go on here and attack the TDs and the TD comes back with a polite professional answer, the person very rarely comes back and apologizes or says 'Wow I feel stupid, sorry about that'. I seriously wonder what will happen to all these tourneys that occur every year when the people that run them finally decide that it is not worth the hassle or having to deal with all the complaining. People have every right to ask questions, I always question why it takes so long to get tourney results, and its a valid question. But it is possible to ask a question without coming across as a complete dick.

Thanks Jim ... That's an accurate and fair observation ... A couple of simple factors are in play here ...

• Some/many managers are lacking in communicating effectively with their players ... End result is: Manager gets the team schedule • Manager tells nobody • Nobody-types come on here and snipe unfairly at TD's (classic example this morning);
• Because of the anonymous nature of this forum, rude and obnoxious behavior escapes any identifiable public accountability, therefore there's no reason for the rude/obnoxious folks to [1] stop doing it or [2] apologize; and
• Too many people seem to think that because they pay an annual player registration fee, that a portion of that fee is a license for their anonymous and abusive behavior ... It's not ...

Please look me up in Reno, Jim ... I'll be at Golden Eagle all day/every day ... I can tell you some HILARIOUS ones about guys who think they're anonymous here, but they really aren't ... Our Message Board "back end" records the Internet ISP address for EVERY post that's made and "reverse look-up searches" are really quick and easy! ... Ha!

My apologies to all. Sorry for the moronic rants. It appears that as I age I am losing my ability to use an electronic device properly.
As well as a lot of other things it appears.
Thank You to all the TD's as well as SSUSA for your continued dedication to the game of softball.
