The catcher cannot get to the ball because the batter has not moved. The ball hits fair and than bounce foul. Is this interference ? |

| Oct. 6, 2010 local | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: St George 60+ tournament 60 Major just finished up. I was told Yeagers beat Fire One in the best of 3 (2)team Major division. Some games were rained out. Here's the Crappy part. Both Yeagers and Fire One are from Washington and most of the players face off against each other all summer long. So you spend Big bucks to travel all that way to the play a team from your own state/area ? |

| June 8, 2010 local | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Rocking Reno We played the Desperadoes and they kicked our butts. We came back the next morning and score 38 runs, played the next game and RR kicked our butts. We were very pleased with 4th. It appears any team could beat any team and they did. Except I think Deperadoes and RR were a step above. Great bunch of guys on every team we played against. Stayed at the Sands one night only, running toilet all night , Air did not work and a M/C gang showed up. I think SSUSA should move their Tournament headquarter to a different, cleaner Hotel |

The previous year we played B division and because of ou forfeit victory we move to AAA. It was BS but it's history now. They need to learn from their mistakes. |
| Oct. 29, 2009 local | Topic: Associations Discussion: LVSSA strikes again Well, how would you like to have been the Aro Glass team that lost to Ancell in the Championship game. Aro playing their best ball all year was not good enough when Ancell scored 35 run in the title game. They hit sooo many hr's they had people stationed on the other side of the fence each inning to bring the balls back. I have been told by the Assist Director they are looking into the this. The team did not have enough player and so we won by forfeit. So we did not get to play the game and and we where moved up to AAA for having the forfeit win. |
| Oct. 26, 2009 local | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Huntsman round robin games a farce ! I spoke with the Director or assistant and he told me they have a hard time getting Major teams to come. I suggested they have the Major teams play in a 2 or 3 day tournament for major teams. I did not see any 55 Majors playing 50's. That could be another way of getting enough Major teams to play. But don't drag up some poor AAA or AA teams just to make a Major bracket. By the end of summer teams know if they are Major or Major plus. |
| Oct. 26, 2009 local | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Huntsman round robin games a farce ! Not too many teams sandbag at Phoenix because it could cost your team a good seed for bracket play. If a team comes to St George and they are rated as a Major they should not be playing in a AAA division. There where 2 teams that should have been playing AAA that were moved to major to fill the bracket. Needless to say neither team placed. A few years ago I played on a "B" team.In round robin we played a AAA rated team. We beat them only because a player was ejected in the first inning and they couldn't field a team. We moved up to AAA and were gone in two. |
