First baseman drops ball and picks it up in bare hand and touches base with empty glove at same time before runner touches base. Runner was called safe, umpire said it had to be either ball in hand touching base or foot. What is the correct call? |

Problem was it only lasted about 300-400 swings. I told Alan and he stated that was not bad. Don't know any other feelings on this, but that is not durable nor acceptable. |

| Feb. 25, 2011 John27 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: reebok bats mad dog, Here is the information on my 28 oz endload Reebok Melee that cracked after 60 swings. 12/22/2010 Temp. 70 degrees 40 swings Balls 44-375 Trump Stote that are stored in my house at room temp. Bat is stored in my house. The park is about 10 minutes away. We hit every Wednesday from 3:30 to about 5:00. 12/29/2010 Temp. 60 degrees 20 swings Same balls 44-375 Trump Stote that are stored in my house at room temp. Bat was in Pyro-Flite bat warmer from the time I left my house and at all times at field. Bat is stored in my house. The park is about 10 minutes away. Noticed bat was cracked. I live in NE Florida and bat was rotated after every swing. 60 total swings = cracked bat Reebok International received my broken bat on 1/6/11 and I received my replacement bat on 2/23/11. |
