Hit and Sit.
When I know it is gone, I just take a look and walk to the dugout.

Good video.

Question, does your back foot come off ground when you hit?

Mine does not, could it be I am not timing my swing or chasing the ball.

In same age group you can play AAA next year even though you played major this year. (I Think).
M is say 5 and AAA is 4.
If you have 3 or less M players the team stays AAA.
If 4 players are major the team is moved to major.

OR DO I HAVE THIS ALL WRONG????????????????

Great Tx TRansplant - That would be great, it is so disappointing to drive 8 hours and only have 3 teams.
This puts the TD's in a bind but not like putting
45 seniors in a bind.
Hope all U guys have a great 2015.

stattad - The good thing slo-pitch is not baseball.
The 90' bases would be a killer. You could play at regular depth and turn lots of double plays. That might be fun though.

JMHO - A hit is when you get on base anyway possible without an out being recorded.

Now if someone would pay me $500,000 to play then I would be happy with a walk not being a hit.

Agree with coop3636 99.9%. I call it BA as OBP has to many letters.
Bruce, very interesting on double play results in 2 times at bat. In future if I bat 4 times in a game a double play will make it 5 times and count as 2 outs.

OZ40 - Yes to both.

The fact a bat has 1.21 does not mean it is really there.
Some bats push that number and some do not.
2 bats may hit the same ball 25' different.

Do not pitch and U do not have to concern yourself. If you pitch have good reactions or do not pitch.
Pitchers that throw a ball belt high on outside of plate best start backing up as that ball has a 50% chance of coming back middle, I know as I pitched for 20 years.

Bruce, I like your 90 min per game. That would be great.
Yes we will not get that as stated above.
How about 70 min? We may get more completed games.
I believe this could work.
With Last Inning called all games could be on 1.5 hour schedule and be on time (I Believe).

Thanks for your comments Bruce.

No to liking 1-1 as a batter.
Can get more innings played.
My biggest problem is I am more likely to
hit one up the middle by hitting a ball that is outside
and close to the plate. I DO NOT LIKE HITTING PITCHER.

And do not like getting 2 strikes on me by taking a close pitch. So, bombs away that has an unintended chance of going middle.

If I ever wear out my Combat Centenarian I am gonna have to get me one of these miracle bats. The old CC will still launch a ball out of park. It is 3 years old now. I am waiting for it to go to that next level everyone talks about.

Congrats to Harris Auction for winning 75 AAA in Vegas.

It has been stated here the walls are all the same thickness. The diff is the rod in handle that makes the difference in weight.

The reason heavier bats (30oz) last longer is your swing speed is probably slower then say with a 26oz.

Tri18 - Age and Division is good to add to this.

Just my experience. Playing 65 and 70+ AAA in SPA & SSUSA I have not seen ONE TIME when the homerun limit was reached. Probably 90% of the time not one HR happened.

I have not played SSUSA National Championship tournament since 60+ days where we would have 20+ teams HR's were not a problem, we used alum bats then I think.

Played SPA and every now and then an AAA will hit a HR at nationals.

Now 50 and 55??? U guys talk.

Dawne, sounds great. Wish my team was there.

Played with Harris 70 last year. Your infields were good
with dirt. The turf should be awsome. Have played many years in your tournament (most with Tulsa Teams and Bela Vista).

Hope you have a great tournament.
