Discussion: The herd gets thinner

Sadly, I post this message about the passing of Warren Larrison, outfielder for many years with The Indy 60's, 70's and finally 75's. Warren was a veteran of Viet Nam. He was a great person to hang around with, play ball with and we'll all miss him.

Webbie25, You hit it on the head with MENTALLY. At this age and stage in our careers, most of us get ourselves out more often than the defense does. All the best to you and Steve, Mel

I fail to see anything that Republicans or Democrats have done to turn around the economy or influence unemployment. If we have to talk politics, let's stick to the facts and not embellish our opinions.

Politics plays a part in softball too! Just check the ratings. Let's all try to stay healthy enough to continue to play the game we enjoy and keep our fellowship going strong. Mel

Discussion: The passing of Steve Meek (Meeker)

Many of us in Indianapolis were saddened by the passing of Steve Meek. By the time of his death, most of the senior softball players in Indy and a few of the surrounding states had played with Steve. Prayers to his family and friends.

Thanks Mark, I'm a little jealous that you can play 15 games in a week. Our weather is still iffy. Mel

Hi Mark, Glad to hear that you're doing well. I'm back to playing the outfield as well and able to pinch run occasionally for our 70+ team. Have a great year and if you see Steve, give him my regards. Mel

Discussion: Sad news from Indy...Phil Grimpe

Nancy, The odds are the only thing I may be beating. Phil and I are the same age and both played with Weaver's Landscaping when we were over 55. He took his power hitting and moved up after a couple of years with us. See you in the spring. Mel

Discussion: Online Renewal

When trying to renew on line, I noticed that my one year renewal will expire in 2015. My current card expires at the end of October and I would like a 5 year renewal to take me from 70-75 (if I make it :>)) Any suggestions from SSUSA?
