Discussion: Brickyard Game Schedules & Brackets

Staff will there be Game Schedules & Brackets posted online.
Ditto to the above question. Would be nice to have this info ASAP.
Vegas is this week so you are probably looking at Tuesday,Wednesday next week.
The info about Las Vegas is correct ... Am working as a Field Director there ... I'll write/post the Session # 1 (Ages 65+ and more senior) in the next couple days ... The 60+ (Friday Sat) has a pretty good chance by Monday, too ... Weekend is likely/hopeful for Tuesday ...
Mr. Dowell, the tournament page about Indianapolis talks about a Managers meeting but does not list a day or time. Do you know if there is a meeting? Also, can the managers form be turned in at the tourney or does it have to be done before?
Curt, I am only Dave's sidekick for the week, and he is working his tail off in LV; so let me try to help you. I double checked with office, and you can bring the form with you. Also on the tournament page the location listed is at the park. I am guessing from other posts that you have a 50 team.
Curt ... Manager Meeting information is now available from the Tournament page for the Brickyard ... Thanks for your patience!
Would it be possible to at minimum post the list of teams entered. Please.

Thanks
titanhd If you go to the tournament page for the Brickyard at the top of the page click on the "50 teams" and you can see who is coming by age bracket.

Missouri Dave
Sorry guys but there is no reason why we shouldn't have the schedule for at least the 65+ and 70's, at the Brickyard Classic. Our team has to travel tomorrow and my guys need to know the schedule. We also need to make plans on team meetings as well as when & where to have BP. Dave & the SSUSA staff normally do a great job but they missed the boat on this one.
Knowing Dave, he will post it as soon as he lands. You will not find someone who does more on negative hours of sleep than him. I checked with Tim, and he said that you were welcome to have batting practice on the open fields.
Actually I think the 65's and 70's brackets would be the hardest to put together. When you have two AA 65's, three AAA 65's, one AA 70 and Two AAA 70's it gets pretty diffiult to try and mix teams for pool play and then separare again for double elimination.

It is a no-brainer when you have a lot of teams in the same age and class, but the 65's and 70's mix is not that easy.

However, if anybody can work it out,it is DAVE. He has a lot of experience and is very good. I think you will be much happier waiting the extra day for the schedules and knowing they are right then having a hurry-up job put together.

The BRICKYARD is one of the best run tournaments in senior softball (and that is coming from a director in another organization) and they always do things in the best interest of the teams. Despite the extra wait, you will eventually be very happy with the end result.

Ho
Have not been to the Brickyard Classic at Midwest for a number of years. Is there a common area or good place to hit prior to our opening game, Saturday morning? Would appreciate any advice or directions. Thanks
See ya'll in Indy. I'm with Team Bluegrass. We are looking forward to a great weekend of ball and making some new friends. Look us up and say hi.
Thanks Nancy & Ho for your comments. Again, Dave is a great guy and I certainly would not question his effort. Looks like he needs help...if nothing else we could be given the starting time of our first game. It is 5:30 PM now and most of our players will leave mid-morning tomorrow.
When will the 55's bracket be posted?
