I just got and email for a survey but my system rejected it. Is this legit before I open it?

Fred S ... It's legit ... It's from info@seniorsoftball.com and is the "Member Preference Survey" regarding the National Rules Committee consideration for the potential implementation of the "1-1 count" for other age groups ... The men's and women's 40-Masters divisions currently play that format ...

It was sent to all of the membership's players who have a valid email address as part of their player record and have NOT opted out of receiving email correspondence from SSUSA ... If you meet both of those criteria, you will receive one ... If not, you won't ... It's a one- or two-question survey, depending on how you answer the first question, and shouldn't take more than a minute to complete and reply ...

Submitted vote but doesn't look like system took vote for some reason?? Should you get a replay that vote was accepted???

JBTexas ... Same thing happened to me, too ... Go back to the email you received and click on the polling link again ... If it takes you back to the survey, your first try didn't go through, then enter your answer(s) and click SUBMIT ... If you get a "different" message, something like "the survey is currently unavailable or you have already submitted your vote", then your participation was properly tallied ... Each participant has a unique identifier so that we can subdivide the voting responses by gender (M/F), by the age group in which the player is registered and their Clubs & Leagues Region of the country where they reside ... Mine "took" on the second attempt ...

JBTexas ... We just got a phone call on the same issue ... Webmaster has been contacted ... Seems there is no problem submitting a "1-1" count vote, regardless of which flavor of 1-1 you prefer, but 0-0 has had a hard time taking ...

It seems that would have the chance to corrupt the survey - with people clicking on 1 and 1 to finish it!

Mine doesn't work...but I'm also curious why 1 and 1 with 1 to waste is not an option?

Crusher, if you vote 0-0 no other questions and it doesn't take vote, so I'm guessing you voted for 1-1??

I'm not a complainer and I know it's basically a one question survey but I don't think mine was recorded so I tried again later and same thing. So, I either voted twice or not at all......if my vote didn't come through record me as 0-0 start vote.

This survey is NOT taking 0-0 for a reply. It is only taking the 1-1 therefore it is corrupt survey IMO This is like voting in Chicago

Same as NYGNYY Tried 3 times 0 - 0 and don't know if it recorded. After 3rd time the same option came on to vote again. I gave up. Obviously 0 - 0 is my vote.

I voted and it worked fine.
When I called up the survey again it said:That survey is unavailable or has already been completed

Got the same glitch. It told me to vote on the question asked in orange, but nothing was in orange except an orange strip beside the instructions. Also did not get a second question.

tried again and it said I had not voted (which I had). Again, nothing was in orange and only one question was listed. Looks like it will have to be a complete new survey started again once the problem is repaired.

Relax, guys. Am talking with the webmaster this evening. There's about a 99.3% chance this will be a "Do-over" from scratch to ensure data integrity. Thanks!

When I was a young man, I used to get a courtesy fowl for Christmas from my employer. With my low income, that turkey was mighty welcome!

Hopefully a do-over in this instance. If I may inject a little levity into the thread:

Is this poll being handled by the same pollsters that said Donald J Trump has no chance of winning the presidency? :-)

I did the "do-over" this morning. You get 3 choices. You can't screw it up. "Thank you for participating".

I voted 0-0. As a hitter and pitcher I hate 1 and 1. I wish I kept it but a few years ago someone did a test of 15 games each way and there was a total of 15 min difference. If you want to speed up the game the most timed wasted in a game is in-between inning. You get them in and out you will get a game in close to an hr.
