Hopefully more than who took the time to post and no one pulls out to cause other problem for everyone. Only two teams I'm not familiar with both out of Tx, Omen & Makules. Should be some good games. |

Game On is listed under the 65's Over all, it's pretty accurate for info posted. Lets just hope more teams are going that we don't know about. You just never know until about a week before. Hope to put many faces to ID's and emails. |

| May 6, 2012 d45 160 posts | Someone clarify this for me. Are the Sacremento Blues and the Sacremento Buds two different AA teams? When we have played them the last three years they have always been called the Blues. That's cool if Sacremento has two AA 65 teams. |

While I see there are only 15 in this select group, I think getting 5 toÊ6 teams if not more is realistic for one of the best T's put on during the year. Ten days to go for entry deadline and thought I know there are teams I was told were going no post have been made on them. I hope to see & meet many here. |

Some are mentioned in the thread but many are not. You are correct on the new players ( new rule as well) but it is also a wise move to get better. A few others could learn by it. How was your Lodi T for you other than the RO. |

We did a bat raffle and collected enough to raffle two bats of each winners's choice, plus did a 50/50 raffle. We have 4 winery sponsors that pay most of the awards, so we still make a good profit for our organization. Treacy |

With any luck as it were, the team count might go past last years total of 217 teams for the event. The last 3 years have each been larger then the previous one. It only goes back to 2009 with that info 2008 is only winners info. |

I was told that Ed Rose's team is also attending but am not sure of age etc or team name I could not find "name" in ratings for 65 or 60... any help here again Bruce? It's part the mess up I did earlier re pitcher. Could use a couple more 65 M+ teams so no one plays out of their comfort zone having to play up\down ratings and ages. That sucks. |

Still a few questionable teams, but knowing that many do not reply to emails and others just like their ÔprivacyÕ, there will be more that are not listed. Only 3 days to enter, so I think those who do not speak up are really hurting the overall scheme of things thinking rightly or incorrectly that there will be only a few teams or will play out of age\ratings arena. I personally do not like them but I do not mind playing better teams in order to learn from them. Also hear from many that so & so team is coming but I needed info from the team or player on it, so there are many others not listed here unfortunately. Games begin in a week\half. The tough div age brackets to fill are the Major Plus areas but the 60's is looking pretty good. Hope there are some more 65 M+ teams coming that just didn't post. Bikerton's post will give Omen at least a run, Not sure if the 70's M+ will need to play down as it were in that one. Hoping for one or two more M+ teams there. Still 2 days left to enter..... |

I am hoping for full brackets in all divisions, so no one is 'forced' to play out of their age & ratings area either up or down. Hope to see & meet many new people there. Will be there Mon-Thrs. Count isn't exact (intentionally) but within a dozen or so with a day still to go, this could well be a record breaker for the Rock 'N Reno event. Your teams make it what it is, congratulations. -------- Maybe that was one of the 'voices' I heard in Area 51... I doubt it though. |

| May 12, 2012 taits Men's 65 4548 posts | The Spartans AA 65 team is also on the list bet there was a name change it seems according to the list posted on teams attending. Didn't quite break any record for attendance nor reach last years total team count, but still very good. Those brackets less than full, are likely due to those needing to work and or the expense it will cause them. I can relate to the latter. Still have the weekend to enter it. I believe too many wait to see the complete list as shown to get a pretty good idea who they might will be matched up against. It should be fairly easy to do too reading the ratings. The trouble occurs imo, when you end up playing out of age\ratings when you entered. In checking some teams I've played with in the past, I noticed many haven't been rated for years and some very recently. Should be an excellent venue. Stay healthy. Looking forward to meeting many new and players from before. |

But just last year, I was standing on third base at Golden Eagle, ready to dash home on the next hit, in my shorts and short sleeve uniform and it started to sleet!! I thought to myself: "What am I doing dressed like this in the middle of snow flurries?!" It didn't last long, but it was cold! But the next day was pleasant. |
